    Идея интересная. Я бы одни тиски закрепил бы стационарно, а вторые так, чтобы можно было регулировать расстояние между ними, чтобы можно было зажимать заготовки длиной, например, от 10 см (минимальное расстояние) до 1,5-2 м (максимальное расстояние). Всё-таки две точки фиксации надёжнее, чем одна.
