- We discover Myeongdong and Myeongdong market where we eat famous korean street foods like tornado potato, and Korean fried chicken.
- We visit a traditonal Hanok Village as well as Gyeongbokgung Palace
- We hike up to Namsan tower in Namsan Mountain park, we also see the city walls of Seoul
- We also talk about budget (Seoul can be a pretty cheap travel destination if you do a bit of research!)

Yes Lucile your observations are very astute. Seoul is unique in that some of its history has been preserved amongst the modernization. Yes Koreans are active and love the outdoors. I am Korean- Canadian and until recently my parents were going on a 4 hour hike each week with seniors up to 80 years old.

Seven eleven is just a minor convenience store in Korea. CU, LG25, Emart everyday are the major one. So if you want to try main Korean food, trends, go to the majors.
