This is our western that was shot for under 10K. This project started in March of 2020 with a read through and initial scene shoots. And 3 years after a final shot for the end scene due to the main character (Eliza) when she is older.

The majority of Lex Talionis was shot all around Southern Utah as a spec project for a series idea. With scenes shot in Kingman, AZ and Pioche, NV

Am I the only one that did not know what the name of this film actually MEANT ? (( I doubt it )). So for anyone else: [ [ lex talionis, The law of exact retaliation (Latin: lex talionis),[2] or reciprocal justice, bears the same principle that a person who has injured another person is to be penalized to a similar degree by the injured party. ]]. So thank you for educating me with some new knowledge. And maybe I'll watch it.

The music does a great job of creating tension without being distracting. Why does everyone in indie westerns look like they came straight from the laundry? How are their clothes so clean?

Very good plot, beautiful scenery. If i can recommend something it would be to shorten the in-between scenes. Even if they are beautiful :) impressed with your filming. Don't stop here :) cheers :)
