Miraculous Ladybug - all preproduction animated material (PV, previews, storyboards)

I know I'm late to this, but one thing I love about Felix's design is that his hair is very neat, then when he becomes Chat Noir it gets REALLY messy. It makes more sense that he's harder to recognise because of how different he looks, while Adrien pretty much just changes his part. You wouldn't think someone like Felix would ever let his hair end up like Chat Noir's so it makes more sense that no one would know. Just my little nit pick about Adrien's design

In the anime version hawkmoth looks more intimidating plus there’s far more explosions and stuff. As someone who loves sharp designs of facial features I love the Felix design and chat noir design! I think having a serious male protagonist along with a bubbly love struck female protagonist is interesting to see and has so much potential! Like imagine the possibilities for Felix to slowly fall in love with Bridgette and the possibilities for Bridgette to like Cat Noir. I do like the version we have now but I wouldn’t mind seeing 2d where things are more intense such as actual combat and explosions.

3:37 - I love how Tikki has a four-leaf clover where her spot would be, pushing the whole “Luck” thing since ladybugs and four-leaf clovers are lucky!

Félix and Bridgette are so diferent as Adrien and Marinette, we can’t confuse them , in anime Bridgette is in love whit Felix but she isn’t nervious whit him and Felix is a cold and a serious person, and Adrien is the contrary he is sweet and cute and Marinette is also In love whit Adrien but she is soooo nervous whit him

I would gladly watch an anime like version of Miraculous Ladybug. It looks pretty interesting. The only thing that bothers me is Felix's face shape. Idk why but it really bothers me. Although it suits him as Chat.

I love when that single stride of her hair turns into a heart when she’s around Felix! (in the anime)

The anime looks darker, with actual fight scenes and more interesting backstories and plots.. I wish they made the anime I like 3D too, a lot (gotta admit, big part of that is Chat) I wish they had both

When I see the clips, the only thing I really miss is the atmosphere. The way it's portrayed feels like environments in madoka. The show we got takes place too often in daytime (particularly for villian occurances) and I think that hinders the atmosphere. Imagine the drama that could have been achieved with Volpina for instance. Lila dangling the Adrien illusion as the lights below making her position more intimidating while ladybug is defeated as her face is shadowed

The story makes so much more sense in the anime ver. Adrien/felix has been neglected their whole life. It makes more sense for him to come off as cold, unliek adrien it's too cute and friendly. Bridgette has more confident in herself then Marinette.

Fact: Most anime characters have “antennas” on their heads.

In the anime, we would have blood, more explicit content, more worthy battles... But the spots of Ladybug have to ruined it ;-;

I personally like the anime style a lot more, and I think it's suited the story better. But I can understand how hard those spots would be to animate on ladybug's suit

When the 3D of Miraculous is done, maybe they could do the anime version because the story and characters seems different than the original but have it as two different worlds having no connection to each other so it won’t mess up the stories or something

Tbh in the anime version, i can understand why people can't recognise felix. Because felix is more of a serious person but when he transformed into chat his personality changes 360 and even his hair is longer

I like Adrien's design better than Felix's (character and aesthetic wise) but wish they went for the darker story. Oh well, it's Disney.

Wait so when people were making theories about who hawkmoth was they didn’t think to check any promotional trailers!?!? BECAUSE THIS STRAIGHT UP SHOWS GABRIEL AGRESTE AS HAWKMOTH

Watching this makes me feel like this show had so much wasted potential.

I feel ladybug should have had a deeper story then what we have in the current version. Leave a like if ladybug should be remade after it ends every couple of years like with tmnt.

They should make an anime out of this, maybe just a side project with all these scrapped ideas with so much great potential. These styles are so unique and shouldn't be wasted, they should find a way to bring these projects back to us viewers.
