There's that saying in Fight Club..."the things you own end up owning you" The one thing to consider with a massive 98" TV is that it becomes like a massive piece of equipment/furniture that you can't just easy move, get rid of, replace...etc. You can probably unload a 65" OLED on a used market but no one is buying that 98" TV in the future. You have to pay someone to take it. So im not saying not to get that TV but realize it's not just about price or quality vs quality. Some guys have fun with installs but others may not like dealing with some of the things that come with the ownership of a TV that big. So just be cognizant before hitting the buy button that you will need to deal with moving this TV in the future and it's not like dealing with a smaller OLED. This is still one of the reasons why I think projectors have a place in the future.

Just deciding on a new TV with this exact question. Currently switching between the LG C3 in 65“ for 1450€ and the Hisense U7 75“ for 1250€. What do you think which one should i go for. I currently have some 720p 43“ TV so ether one will be an huge upgrade.
  • Hey B, would you buy a 65 inch C4 for 200 less than a 77 inch C3? Bedroom tv.

Great video topic. You don’t see this much. At least I haven’t when I’ve been researching tvs to death for like 3 months. This is a great video for people with fixed budgets. I am hovering around $2k+ for my next tv and have been looking at the lg OLED 77” c3/c4 vs the 85” Samsung neo QLED. This video helps put it in perspective. Thank you.

The bigger the tv the higher the source's bitrate needs to be. OLED is better for a larger tv. Bitrate shows up in the clarity of distant faces needing more subtle information, OLED is better at this. Sony Bravia 8 77" $3299

Determine the biggest size that your comfortable looking at where you sit, then get the best display in that size. If cost is an issue purchase the prior year model or finance the purchase.

Interesting video and I do appreciate it. I wonder, though, how many homeowners have the wall for these big (gigantic) TVs.
  • @ChinCycling
Watched a lot of videos and ended up getting the 85” X90l for $2k, extremely happy with it, amazing tv

What about the TCL 98QM751? I was going to get the TCL 85QM851, but the 98QM751 (2024 model) was on sale for under $3000 and went for that instead (I currently have a 2016 Vizio M series that is moving to another room).
  • @airixxxx
If we are talking mini LED and OLED only, I choose size over quality always. No point in paying for quality if you can't see it from afar.

TV purchasing is very confusing this kind of guide is really helpful thanks 👍
  • @user-ip9ss2bh3d
I had to make this decision recently. A 75 U8k over a 65 C3. I chose the U8 and I’m totally happy with it and I wound up with a couple of hundred bucks left over. I will definitely go bigger over better next time as well

Ive learned more than 10 years ago that picture quality is better than size. My brother bought a panasonic plasma full hd 42" and I bought a samsung 51" "hd". And when i bought i thought 9" is a lot, and it is. But after every time i watched my tv and his it was such a big difference that ive learned my lesson. Now i prefer a 55" oled tv than take huge led tv.
  • @bungalowtomcat1
If your running the tv 📺 15 to 20 hours each day,,, Top Quality, OLED or QLED what would last longer ?
