Moved to Sweden not long time ago, lovely country, got a job in a matter of weeks, fixed up apartment soon after that, the country takes care of its people. Sweden did more for me and my family than my own country did in my lifetime. If a day comes, God forbid, that this country is gonna turn to war, it can count on me as a volunteer. Long live Sverige! 🇸🇪

I am proud of my brothers and sisters of Sweden. Greetings from Finland.

The Swedish military might be the most atheistically pleasure military in the world. All of their equipment and personnel look modern, yet extremely pragmatic. Their camouflage is also very effective.
  • @ludvigaberg2244
I'm impressed that you got the majority of the details right, must have taken a lot of time to resarch. Nice mix of footage aswell, I think I could spot myself atleast 3 times ;)
Great video, and greetings from Sweden!
  • @TheTigers500
Fun fact for you! At 15:34 ; the guy at the top left in the vehicle, is the Swedish king👑
  • @Bishop1105
Dude, props for not chickening out on the pronunciations of the place names! Overall, not a half bad job.
  • @tommiterava5955
The Swedish Army is a very well-equipped force! I hope Finland will buy more of the excellent CV90s in the future (atm we only have ~100). -Greetings from a Finnish Army reservist.
  • @2canines
I would never have imagined a non Swedish production would be able to go so in depth.
    Fantastic visuals as well.
    Great work!
  • @seihai-kun6726
Sweden: "How many CV90 variants do you want?"
    Swedish Army: "Yes."
  • @erusean8492
Sweden has also always pushed military innovation forwards. Since early modern history revolutionizing field artillery uses and tactics, creating one of the most professional armies in the world until current times with technological innovations.
Stridsvagn 103, Gripen, CV90, Archer... I'm not a swede myself but I've always been impressed by their doctrine and quality. My guess is rewarding and encouraging innovation was their way to make up for small population

I served on the CV9040 as a "pansargrenadjär" at P4 Kvarn back in 2004-2005. The information here is overall correct! Good job!

Love you Sweden, greeting from a Norwegian (yes, real norwegian) 🇳🇴❤️🇸🇪
  • @docmoreau7540
Scandinavian nature is truly beautiful. I can't help but compliment a views, especially one at 16:50.
  • @scruffy7760
On the fighting from the hatches. It's based on Germanys tactics from WW2, when their grenadier would be fighting mounted from halftracks following the tanks into battle. A proven and successful concept in other words.

If facing troops that are forced to dismount, as the enemy relocate to find a good spot to dismount, the swedish CV90 can advance with troops ready, put pressure on the enemy and A) force them to relocate, or B) catch them as they dismount and kill them.

Aggressive maneuvering is key to the swedish doctrine

As a swede this video has made my day!
  • @davidbrennan660
I like many times Swedish disruptive camouflage patterns, good weapon systems too.
  • @ultraman5168
These seem like very tough formations. The CV90 is a real stud of an AFV; even the support and command elements are very prickly with 40mm Bofors guns. And I very much like how liberal they are with the infantry's selection of arms right down to platoon level.

It warms a Yankee's heart to see our Euro friends are still ready to go.

I have always been impressed by the top-notch equipment and capabilities of the Swedish armed forces. Many do not realize that the Swedes have a long, and storied military history, having produced one of the great military geniuses of history, Gustavus Adolphus, and having a long history of combat against the Russians. Most impressive is their superior ASW capability. The fighting spirit of their Viking ancestors is still very apparent in the Swedish military today.
