R6 Siege: Comments taught me to play Sledge!

Another great video, thank you, love watching you learn and improve! Noticed two things that might be helpful, hope you don't mind me sharing. When you're using grenades, obviously they're great for clearing bulletproof utility, but they can also be great for getting free kills – not by the grenades killing people, but the grenades forcing enemies to move and giving you a free kill on them. 8:57 is a great example. If, after you threw that grenade, you watched for the enemy to run away, you give yourself a great chance at a free pick. The other thing with Sledge is to try to use his utility to get vertical control. You tried it on Bank basement where unfortunately there isn't really any destructible floors/ceilings, but on maps like Coastline where you can open up above the Kitchen site, Sledge's hammer can cause headaches for defenders, win you site control, and hand you free kills.

2:04 in bank if they are down stairs hibana is the play to open the hatches and you open the site hach from that rotate area (where the fils s helf are ) just remembered that 4 hibana gadgets are enough

5:19 this angle is a better angle to hold rather than push up on the door way. also when you peaked the aruni you were leaning with your body exposed. you have emp grenades, gotta use them. maybe emp the aruni gate and then bate the defender out with a drone. make sure your drone deployment setting is on advanced, or you will be locked in the animation of getting on cams as soon as you throw your drone

couple of tips here, noticed on Coastline when the defenders went the Kitchen site you didn’t fully take advantage of Sledge. you should be going above the site and create holes above the defenders to create pressure and get potential picks. also when you threw the frag behind the desk on the Recruit, you should’ve created a full line of site so when the Recruit ran you could get a free pick. if you want a more aggressive role with Sledge as well i would definitely recommend the horizontal grip as it’ll make dealing with his slow movement speed much easier and his gun is easy to control anyways. Sledge is a good all around op but i would recommend picking Buck or Ram over him. both of them have superior guns, Buck is more versatile and Ram creates much larger destruction and disrupts audio. hope this helps

Just a tip always hopping though a window look down and shoot because there can be a frost

6:35 so notice it takes you like 30 seconds from the start of the round to get to the kitchen window. in that time, the information you gathered is rendered useless, more so if longer time passes. when you drone out your entry room i like to do the whole room i’m entering and then the next room where i wanna go. and then when i enter I make sure i’m clearing every possible angle I can think of that I may not have checked as I traverse the map. be sure to play with sound as loud as you can comfortably tolerate, and always take blame for why you died. maybe operator choice, weapon selection, attachment choice, positioning, or not enough practice. aim at a teammate in prep phase and learn head level

Hey Karl great video! One thing I noticed you should do more is pre-fire.. let’s take 6:05 for example, you knew he was in the corner. So what I would’ve done is swung wide and prefired him. I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do but that’s what I’d recommend. Also side question what time do you play and what time zone are you? I wanna try and snipe into one of your games😂
