Grew up with her went to the same int. School. So proud of her. She was always better than the rest of us training. So happy for her winning GOLD and achieving her dreams!

If I understand the terms correctly, Kong riposted the crap out of Mallo-Breton. Regardless of what it's called, great comeback and congratulations to Hong Kong. I just watched my Astros come back against the Dodgers in analogous fashion so I salute her tenacity.

Didn’t think NBC will have a highlight of this event! It is an historic achievement for Hong Kong who only recorded their third gold medal in Olympics history! Congratulations to Vivian! At the same time, she is a Stanford graduate so it’s also a win for USA😊

I've been in that situation with similar result. Mallo was just trying to finish it, got sloppy, didn't adjust to the danger. Kong became extraordinary, dancing Mallo on to her point.
