THIS VIDEO WILL SPOIL THE ENTIRE GAME. Inscryption is best played knowing as little as possible about it beforehand so I definitely recommend playing it before watching this video. It's personally my game of the year and I promise that it's worth every single penny. Go! Go play it!

This game means a lot to me, (I don't know the last time a piece of media hit me this hard) and I really hope that it shows in this video! Enjoy!

imagine being the protagonist who has PULLED TEETH AND GOUGED OUT THERE EYES only to die to a 4/6 bear

No words will ever describe how I felt when leshy said "It was a good deck... you did well." It was the perfect dialogue.
  • I remember when you first learned how to stand up from the table in the game Leshy said “I’m no tyrant, you may stand up when you wish.” When po3 literally handcuffs you to the table

“Please… let us continue. We don’t need to keep score.” JESUS OK DIDN’T EXPECT THE HORROR GAME TO MAKE ME FEEL EMOTIONS
  • @shriveborn9422
“We don’t need to keep score.” One of the most emotional quotes in the game, in my opinion. Leshy is just so desperate to keep playing, he disregards the rules to keep doing it.
  • First time beating Leshy: "damn that's the whole game?" First time selecting new game: "THAT WASN'T THE END! THAT WASN'T THE END!"

Leshy is one of the most interesting characters. Out of a robot who wants the OLD_DATA released, leaders who don’t care about their students, and a woman that just the end of all the pain, Leshy at the end of the day was just a guy who wanted to play Cards. Out of all of them, he was just a good story teller, a good host, a stickler for the rules, he was there just to keep everything from being seen. He was the gatekeeper of the horrors of Inscryption. Even in the end, who’s the one character that makes you feel at home? The one that was with you for so long, even when killing you, he respected you. Good game, friend.

There's actually a lot of details that I didn't notice the first time watching this video! Things like the first deathcard actually being something that you could make on your first run, the ouroboros having been clearly abused, sitting at 26 health, and the angler hooking a Squirrel instead of a wolf makes it feel like I just watched someone play through the game (with an awesome and appropriate sound track of course)

Not being able to shake Magnificus's hand in the end was heartbreaking.
  • @DJFlare84
I like Leshy being revealed at "What was the reason? There never was one needed!". It's like him telling the Player his motivations. He just wanted to play the game, man...
  • @jocosesonata
I just like how despite being a jerk, Magnificus still has the sportsmanship to shake your hand. The dude was crawling on the ground, trying his best to reach you, so that he can shake your hand for a good game. That earned some respect from me.
  • The Fact That It Only Says "No, A Good Song Never" Without Saying Dies Really Shows How Magnificus Ended Up
  • @beanmoment3918
I like how at the start we all hated leshy because he was the "Villan", but then we learn he just wanted to play a card game, then PO3 became the villan

I like how the protagonist genuinely shows having fun playing with Grimora in act 2, because she's actually just kinda nice unlike the other Scrybes.
  • @jackofroge
Anyone else feel like the scrybes represent the aspects of a good game? Plot (Leshy), characters (Grimora), gameplay (P-03), and graphics (Magnificus)? This really shines in their solo campaigns.
  • "This vagabond with a two way path to the great beyond" Is a suprisingly fitting line to describe Po3 / Stoat.
  • @wiiblewobble
Shout out to the second use of “you don’t even know me” being SO perfect for how we thought of the stoat as a friend, only for him to have his own agenda far beyond anything we could have predicted. Like: “No, I’m not your friend. I never was.” I did also get chills the first time it hit with the masks tho.
  • @coalkingryan881
I think the four scribes represent what makes a game good. Leshy is the story, PO3 is the mechanics, Grimora is replay ability, and Magnificus is graphics. All four of them fighting each other would never make a good game, only in harmony could they make Inscryption perfect.

how did you manage to fit a 20 hour game into 3.5 minutes god damn well done
