This list barely scratches the surface of USA travel destinations... so drop your recommendations in the comments!

I really liked this style of video. It would be cool if you did different categories like the top 5 places to travel in California, the top 10 countries in Europe, the top 10 beaches in the world, etc.

Sedona, Arizona, is ✨magical✨ — highly recommend the drive from Flagstaff to Sedona down AZ 89a.
  • @Autumn.Robbins
Oregon has some amazing places too!! We've got desert, snowy mountains, forests, and beaches. so much to explore here!!
  • @aimeenicole6199
Oregon, more specifically anywhere along the coast! Absolutely nothing like its raw, rugged, peaceful beauty 🥰

Oh my god! My childhood heart when you said SANIBEL! I was born in Tampa and my whole life, even when my family moved to Maryland and California – Sanibel was our annual family vacation. Vanilla Ice cream at "the bean", bike rides, watching cabel TV cause we grew up without it... It's a hidden gem. My dad always said, "If you can't relax in Sanibel, there's no hope for you." We would also drive through Captiva and fantasize about buying a home there. Made my night for you to mention it! <3

My bf and I did Yellowstone AND Grand Teton National Park a couple years ago. I loved Grand Teton. I'm a NH resident, born and raised and haven't left and we have mountains but the Grand Tetons were a whole nother level. So beautiful.

I would definitely recommend Grand Canyon in Arizona, I know that it’s very tourists oriented but seriously, I have never seen something like that anywhere in my whole life, it’s like if time stopped and we see this vastness in front of us, and the colors when the sun sets, it’s incredible. I was with my ex, children and cat, the cat in the car was stunned and was staring at this incredible gigantic place. Pets don’t lie, my cat was as stunned as we were. A few months later, I went to see the David Hockney exhibition at Beaubourg in Paris, many little paintings attached together to create a whole wall showing the Grand Canyon according to Hockney. I could spend hours there, I actually went back several times, and I had the same feeling as when I was at the Grand Canyon for real. David Hockney is an amazing artist. I love wide spaces, mostly the beaches and oceans but Grand Canyon is something which looks like nothing else, it is a must see absolutely.

Enjoyed this so much! If I may add a spot that’s completely underrated and not on the radar for many outside Chicago: Door County, Wisconsin. So quaint, beautiful nature, delicious food, and no chains!

For foliage lovers, White mountain, New Hampshire and Vermont is a must! Amazing colors, hard to beat it.

America..! where each corner tells a story, and every mile unfolds a new adventure 😍. Very informative , Thanks.!

Perfect timing! Last year my husband retired and I plan to later this year. Tomorrow is his birthday and I'm giving him a map, a journal and a book about the National Parks so we can start planning to visit them! We're heading to St John, USVI in June so the National Park there will be #1; We live in New England so Acadia (and Bar Harbor) will be next. You've provided the next several trip ideas for us here. Thank you for that!
  • My list includes a few of your picks, too!! San Juan Islands in Washington cannot be missed. This collection of islands off the coast of Washington are picturesque and so special. I recommend May-September. Flying into Seattle and driving north to Anacortes before hopping on a ferry is one way to travel! Portland, Oregon is my one of my favorite cities. It has a small-city feel but the food is fabulous. Some of the best I have ever had. And the price point is more affordable than other places. Portland, Maine and along the coast is another favorite. My ex was from there, so I have visited many times. They call it vacation land, which is fitting. Summer is the best time to go. Savannah, Georgia is my favorite city in the south. It has all the charm of other Southern-coastal cities without overwhelm that others do. Book a ghost tour and enjoy the food! A few places on my bucket list: Utah for the national parks; Montana for the beautiful mountains; Vermont for fall colors.

As someone born and raised along the coast of Maine I appreciate that it made the video. Maine in the fall in a good foliage year is one of my favorite places to be as well. I’m looking to do more domestic travel and your videos are so inspiring, I’m definitely adding these places to my list.
  • This is a wonderful video and the way of making the video is also very good. Allisonanderson looking very nice 🎉🎉🎉
  • @beckyprice8239
I just love your travel videos! They’re so honest, informative and give me huge wanderlust! I would love to see a video of you talking about all of the countries you’ve travelled to, like a scratch map video😊 and maybe one for the US too.
  • Thank you so much for this video Allison ! The US has so many fabulous landscapes !
  • @eljj7968
This is a fantastic list! I totally agree (haven't made it to all these places yet, but the ones I haven't are high on my list). I would possibly also add Santa Fe New Mexico, I loved that place.
  • @Ikp7918
Definitely don't forget about the Midwest! If you want an actual relaxing vacation, the Midwest is quieter, less crowded, cheaper and friendlier 😂 i would recommend Apostle islands Lakeshore in Wisconsin, Michigans beaches, Door County Wisconsin, Voyageurs national Park in Minnesota

Alaska / Glacier National Park! I did a 7 day Uncruise Adventures trip with my family last summer - 80 person cruise from Juneau to Sitka. Hands down the best travel experience of my life! Because of the smaller vessel, we explored essentially untouched wilderness. Amazing amazing crew and guides. Cannot recommend enough.
