  • This prosecutor was so arrogant and full of herself she actually helped Baldwin get off and still didn’t get where she went wrong. The former prosecutors she assigned to the case knew this prosecutor was off her rocker. She destroyed this case with her pride, when clearly the Judge did not want the Prosecutor to testify, for her own preservation and that of the case. However because the Prosector was so very prideful, it might take her a month to figure out that she herself, ruined her own case against Baldwin! What a pompous ass!

Baldwin’s attorneys had filed a last-minute motion to dismiss the case, arguing that the state failed to disclose what could be key evidence, something prosecutors denied. Judge Sommer dismissed the jury earlier today and, this afternoon, agreed that this key evidence was enough to end the trial. “There is no way for the court to right this wrong,” Sommer said when making her ruling this afternoon. “The state has repeatedly made representations to the defense and to the court that they were compliant with all their discovery obligations,” the judge said. The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the case can’t be brought against Baldwin again.

Delightfully meaningful and scathing when the judge said the word "scorching" whilst looking up and (possibly) straight at the prosecutor.
  • The prosecutor needed to concern herself with her own and the CST 's demeanor instead of Baldwin's. The judge is not happy.

The irony is , the one who set Baldwin free was the (inept and arrogant ) prosecutor.
  • The judge didn't have a choice here. Non-disclosure is grounds for dismissal. That's like law 100 (even before law 101).
  • That prosecutor is Toast. The whole world knows her corruption now!

I am so thankful that the victims family can now see Mr Baldwin was sincere in his sympathy. And also, I hope he just quits and takes on responsibility of being a father to his children and enjoy that life

This wasn't about Alec Baldwin. This was preserving the integrity of our Judicial System. The Court determines the relevance of evidence, not the prosecutors or Police.
