India still follows laws made back in 1950s and most before independence of Victorian Era, and we say why isn't India still developed after 7 decades of independence!!🤦🤦

@35:00 that was me I disagree with Armin’s interpretation. It’s a false equivalence. Zeus is not = thunder. But Agni is = fire. Agni might be using fire but Agni literally means fire in Sanskrit. Since there are Vedic hymns praying to Agni during rituals, it’s a fire worship in a way. It’s not surprising because there is nature worship in Vedas and by extension fire worship (although not exclusively). Agni (fire), Prithvi (earth), Dyaus (sky), Vaayu (air), Aditya (Sun) etcetera and even the Rivers as goddesses
