Pat McCabe, Woman Stands Shining, Dine elder and international speaker on the indigenous science of thriving life, talks about communion with land and landscape, at the Communion with the Wild retreat, June 2022. The retreat explored our connection with five aspects of the natural world: land, plants, insects & invertbrates, animals & birds, and the whole web of life. The retreat was a collaboration between St Ethelburga's Centre and La Jarrie in Normandy, France, a beautifully tended farm with a permaculture garden, woodlands, wetlands and wilding meadows. The retreat was co-hosted by Justine Huxley and Sharon Brittain.

Thankyou Woman Stands Shining I really enjoyed both your ceremony and teachings it's meant to be because being as minimalist as possible really there is one thing in my flat I've been wondering about for quite a while... I have a fridge magnet with "Keep Calm And Love Owls" on it and I didn't know why? I do now it's a great reminder of this and we connected before on Facebook once too...blessings from Scotland Sacred Sister and Tribe.
