This song is not a final boss fight or something, it's just Pico desperately making time to Nene and Skid to escape and resisting how he can, in this song he isn't pushing the bar because the battle is alr over, he doesn't have enough forces only bullets

Just imagine how Nene feels after hearing all those gunshots and them slowing down until eventually....dead silence. Good work on this mod. Really looking forward to playing it someday

For people who are confuse, all the character in the background are Darnell, A henchman and the Goth punks ( Antagonist from Pico School ) composed of Cassandra, Cyclops, Alucard and Hanzou.

I like how in this, Pico is considered a rival. Pico is a such a big threat to the corruption that a whole group of corrupted people needed to be there. He was the first line of defense against the corruption.

this has no right being as well done as it is. the deathmatch motif bf started singing as daddy dearest was shown was an incredible touch, and the attention to detail with picos shots getting slower as he either runs out of bullets or realizes the futility of it all is very nice. the composition is just.. outstanding. very good representation of how serious this situation is for the characters while also making this song go incredibly hard. amazing work, takeover team.

Pico went down like a hero, shooting bf relentlessly to buy time for skid and nene to escape. The images flashing at the end as well before pico goes beserk....nene and skid running away, tabi and whitty surrounded, ruv by himself, lila cornered by lemon demon and dd finding corrupt gf. I think it foreshadows that along with the original victims(skid,pump, mm, senpai, spirit and dd) we could eventually have to face whitty, tabi and ruv as well and lila cornered by lemon demon will probably play a role for skid and pump's week, i wonder what nene is going to do to protect skid if both lila and pump are corrupted

Witty and Tabi standing together is a neat idea. Ruv standing on his own though, that's also super neat.

In contrast to Unable, where Pico genuinely posed a threat to the corruption, here Pico doesn’t stand a chance. Pico’s so weak that he can’t even move the bar anymore. The only thing that’s keeping Pico going is the hope that if he buys enough time, then maybe Skid and Nene will get to safety. Corrupted BF’s vocals, especially at 2:39 gives off the vibe that this isn’t actually a serious battle anymore- this is simply just a prolonged defeat. As I said in my last comment, Pico is a glass cannon, and the Corruption has succeeded in breaking him apart.

it sucks that we already know Pico for plot convince it's gonna fully convert. but I expect him to make one heck of a last stand, let's go.

As much as I love the original Corruption and somewhat dislike remakes of it, this is incredible. This one actually gives the characters feelings and emotion, rather than it just being the regular characters being reskinned, slightly different animations, and remixed music. This is almost perfect!

Pico really tried his heart out there. Shame that he took the L but was expected. Great work from everyone on the team and hope y'all get plenty of rest!

I love the fact that here monster is very smart and played it safe, corrupting more people and setting traps for possible survivors before attacking the mall instead of attacking with no corrupted minions/traps and hoping for the best.

I can only imagine how that would feel, being surrounded by all these people you once knew, now turned into these… things No wonder pico just blows through his entire clip at the end, the combination of hopelessness and anger would probably be overwhelming by that point.

this is what we a call a "SPEED" moment with how fast they got this one out

Good to know he's doing alright." (The gunshots slow down, and then there's nothing but silence) ".. No..." "Is everything okay, miss?" "I... Yeah, I'm fine... Let's just keep going... The longer we take, the longer we aren't safe..."

A detail to note is that from the first day I advanced the clock of the letter or of corruption, implying that time was running out and now that the peak time is over, the clock arrived at 12 (it is sad to think that all this time one way or another we knew he was going to lose)
