Declutter and Organize Craft Room

Lol, what a breath of fresh air after after watching your video Barb and reading these comments. So glad I’m not the only one who has a messy craft room. I find that I often have to clean my area first before I can start a new project. Nice also seeing that you didn’t spend a ton of money on expensive storage units. Great cheap storage ideas can be possible if you put your mind to it. I’m jealous of your huge craft room!❤

OMGoodness. Your craft room looks way better than mine... I have hoarded so much that I have a shed full of totes, 1/2 of my garage full of totes and my small craft room inside my house busting at the seams...My grown children laugh & cry at me...its awful..I have way too much...😅😂😅 I could probably fill up a Dollar Tree store 😂😂.. Thanks for sharing. I guess it's time to organize mine since the days are warmer 😊

Ok Barbara, your craft room wasn’t that bad! It was organized chaos! Lol Mine was a total mess until I couldn’t stand it anymore! I started like you did, one area at a time. Sure keeps you from getting overwhelmed and depressed! Set aside a certain amount of time every day to work towards my goal! Then started seeing results and I was on fire to finish! Your craft room looks amazing. So functional and on a budget! Doesn’t get better than that my friend. Thanks for your tips and tricks too. Being organized made my crafting less frustrating and a lot more fun too. Seemed like I was always hunting for something I knew I had! Now crafting flows like it should. I don’t end up buying things I already had either. It’s a win/win for sure. Thanks again for sharing your ideas and tips on organizing our craft space. Love those organizers from Big Lots! I make myself clean up and put back supplies after crafting too. This helps keep it organized! I struggled with this, as after crafting I was so tired, but I wanted to come into a clean space the next day. Happy Mother’s Day lady! ❤😊👍

You did a wonderful job at cleaning and organizing your craft room. I’m at the point where I don’t even craft anymore because I can’t find what I need and everything is in chaos. I’m just so overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. I’ll have to take your advice and do just a little bit at a time. One of my problems is I have way too much and don’t like to get rid of things. That might need to change if I ever want to be inspired again. I use two bedrooms as my craft room and it makes it more difficult not to have everything in one room. I love how your room looks.

Barbara...WOW, you must have had your Wheaties, before starting this video. I never knew anyone could move so fast. Fast forward can't top that. Seriously...You and Sherry at Canterbury Cottage are speaking to me. "I mean, why put off till tomorrow what you can do today"? I haven't quite answered the question but somehow I always manage to stall. Love the storage you found to help with the process.I like using over the door shoe bags to hang on the back of the door as it makes good storage for small to medium jars, bottles and cans. When I win the lottery I will buy myself a Dreambox or...maybe 2. Meanwhile? Dollar Tree, here I come. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and will have a beautiful week. Be Blessed and Safe. I’m fixing to move my craft “area” finally from our dining room table to one of our guest rooms. We seldom have overnight guests but I want to organize it in such a way that guests would still have the room they needed. I liked a lot of your idea’s!
