Marques, Andrew, and David discuss Samsung rumors, AI, the new Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the Lucid Gravity EV, and features that should've come to Google Authenticator and WhatsApp a long time ago. In India, Whatsapp is just too ubiquitous, almost to the point of no turning back..Im presuming here, but i believe that one of the first apps people download when buying a new phone is ubiquitously whatsapp..It would take a massive gargantuan leap or shift (even this is understating how massive the shift it will take) to dethrone whatsapp as the default messenger app..

as a brazilian it's always crazy to think that someone does not use WhatsApp. Here in Brazil nobody uses SMS. The Messages app that comes installed are only used to get 2FA codes

See, my problem with WhatsApp is that for most people here in Germany it's the default messenger app. So if I would want to switch to basically anything else, I'd not be able to be part of important groups for university, just as an example. And I've tried convincing people to switch, but at the end I just gave up. And it wouldn't make any sense to just use it for like four groups and switch to a different app for everything else, that just doesn't work. I already use iMessage, Threema, WhatsApp and Signal (not as of lately), it's a mess. I ditched Signal cause the synchronization and push notifications are just straight garbage.

20:25 😂 It happened to me too. I downloaded Edge with the sole intention to use it for the Bing AI Chat...but then I slowly started realizing it was better than Chrome. Edge uses less RAM than chrome on my Macbook Pro and it also feels snappier. Not to mention the Bing AI Sidebar is game-changing. If I ever have a question about something or I need a summary of the webpage I'm currently on, it does it instantly. I changed my default search engine to Google so searching for things still feels the same but, tbh I find myself using Google less and less. The only time I use Google now is for finding the right reddit post that has the answer to whatever question I have
  • I’m in Australia, so I wake up Saturday morning having a new WVFRM podcast ready to listen to as I lazily start my weekend. Perfect 👌
  • Another awesome episode from one of the best podcasts around 😎🤙🏻
  • Just got the shoes today in the UK.. the fit is fantastic, they look rad, and are so light for their high top form factor. Excited to use these as one of my regulars. P.S. The box interior was a delight too. Thanks and well done on pushing through a journey as long as this! It is easy to just see the outcome, but I can imagine 2yrs is a long time to sustain motivation! For v2.... large battery life 😂
