Learn proper swing motion for the first time in the history of golf

Published 2023-06-18
This drilling and practice fixes the fault what modern golfgrip and gurus teach you.

Use thicker grips with Hans version of my grip (thumb off the shaft)
Use a blade club for quality feedback with contact with ball and sweetspot.
Tilt and lift use video down the line to check so you dont turn/rotate.

Modern golf gurus teach you wrong and none knows that.
You want to have fun and enjoy the game this is the starting point.

I have M.E/cfs/longcovid etc..whatever people call it.
causing massive energy issues making videos as this hard for me to do.
So this is likely the only video I will make for the summer.
You dont need anything else.

This restricts your movements as you have so many bad habits already that we want to ensure your not engaging by restricting so your able to re-learn proper golf motion for the first time in golf history.

  • Robert is a genius.I played 18 holes today. Hit best irons and 3 woods ever in my life.
  • Dear Mr Johansson, Icame across your channel by chance, very interesting and challenging., ive ben floundering with the 'modern' swing for years despite numerous , lessons, practice, books (which basically have all said the same thing) YT vids etc etc im going to experiment with your unique method, as in a sense ive nothing to lose, you are quite right of course the vast majority of golfers have once they get down to about 18 never really improved, i about 3 years ago starting playing again at my old club here in the UK , which i first was a member at late 90's to about 2005, there are many guys there who i saw from those early years who have never improved, only a handful ever been single figure players, and this season on the club members hcap list , at best there has been only slight marginal decreases in hcap despite them playing quite a lot, and again that is only a handful, if we say modern teaching theory began in the say 1920's as far as i can tell hcaps have barely reduced at all in the vast majority of players. So something's not 'correct' with modern teaching. Sorry to hear of your illnesses and wish you better health and strength, hope you can occasionally post more vids and advice. Cheers and good luck.
  • Hi Rob. Bad back not playing to much. I know you showed your grip pretty close a few months back. Love to see it real close. Hope you feel better. Thanks pal
  • Teaching point that states the golfer doesn't know how to do the swing until you DO IT because the brain cannot learn it without Performing it; needs to be said more by instructors. You say it!!! Also, we probably won't do it correctly in early attempts, so don't swing at golf ball. Keep going....
