I’m not one for crying, but this nearly brought me to tears. The overall demeanor of this project is so soothing and comforting, expressing how Mapleshade did several of her deeds just for her beloved kits without even showing the specific scenes in the MAP. Phenomenal work to each and every participant! I wasn’t able to fit all of my words into a few sentences before typing an entire essay; I hope I said enough, but whatever I didn’t, just know I am silently acknowledging all of what everyone did to make this possible!

I absolutely love how the lighting changes after her kittens appear and she appears as not a a villain, but just a hurt mother, showing the side of her the others don’t see anymore.

I haven't been in the warriors fandom for almost three years now, seeing this and knowing that people are still so passionate and talented about the series, it really does make me happy. Good job to all the animators who worked on this, now excuse me while I continue to wait for Helluva episode 7.

Its nice to see a map where she isn’t seen as a villian but as a mother, we need more maps like this. Everyone did such a great job aswell.

Here’s like a little theory or story I came up with thanks to this map, maybe once a couple moons,Starclan lets Mapleshades kits visit her in the dark forest. This is the best thing Mapleshades ever had, and she refuses to let them see the true horror of the dark forest. So she takes them to a hollow in the tree to tell them stories and keeps them safe. This is an awesomely sad map, everyone had such beautiful styles.

By the looks of the thumbnail, this map is already gorgeous! After seeing some parts separately, I was awed by this map! Everyone did a great job, it's so nice to see such a sweet emotional map! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

WOW!! Everyone did such an AMAZING JOB! Everyones parts were flawless and the way this map was put together in the first place was just so well done with all the colors and references and og storyboard. I have a feeling had Mapleshade been born into the time of Firestar's leadership or even his time as just a warrior of ThunderClan, her story might've turned out so much happier. Both RiverClan and ThunderClan met her with cruelty.

2:19 I can rewatch that part for hours. It gives me goosebumps. The vocals and the animation literally made me cry.

THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I love when people find a way to show the good side of villains and that they’re not heartless. this project ended up beautifully <3

I always saw Mapleshade as a horrendously evil villain, but this map showed me such a different side of her. She may be a merciless killer, but she does have at least a drop of love left in her. No one deserves what happened to her, no matter how evil. This almost brought me to tears.

AHHHH I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE IT DONE! EVERYONE DID A PHENOMENAL JOB! The detail and emotion in every part is outstanding! I was too busy with other MAPs to take a part, but somehow I feel proud that it's complete. I've been watching all the parts get done and now seeing them together is just so incredibly pleasing! A huge well done to everyone who was able to take part; you all did so great!

i know people often say "this made me cry" and they didn't actually cry but i swear on everything i am and everything i ever will be, i cried. real tears. i was at a halloween party and got nauseous trying to suppress my sobs. this is one of two maps that have made me weep. holy shit. i'm blown away by the raw emotion in this map. love maps that make me feel. incredible work to the host and all the artists.

Im sorry but Mapleshade's kits visiting her once a moon is canon for me in the books, sorry not sorry. I love each and every single part of this, its just so amazing. Also almost cried a bit :')
