Who have the PSVR 2 and how y'all feeling?
-
The title is clever clickbait I must admit!
-
anybody could have seen this coming. Sony doesn’t support anything besides their main consoles.
-
Unfortunate. I was hoping the vr would only get better
-
I'm keeping my psvr2 as an accessory I like playing my games in theater mode laying in bed
-
Pricing was always Sony’s downfall.
-
off topic but where did you get that paint of martin and fresh prince
-
I love my PSVR2 especially for Gran Turismo. The price indeed killed its sales. Same with Apple’s. VR should be more mainstream than it is. You hired folks for these projects then killed their careers by getting greedy with the price. Then have the audacity to hide it behind lack of interest. It’s 2024, start listening to the consumer of the products, not the consumer of the shares. You’ll get your money when we ALL have something we love and can afford.
-
Looking forward to seeing how their upcoming pc adapter workouts which is why I hung on to mine. Plus I have a racing sim setup with Gran Turismo 7 that is on a different level in VR. But I completely get where you’re coming from.
-
Just got mine a few days ago and I love it, but I also only use it for sim racing, the selection of games in the future I really never cared about, but it is sad to know there isn’t really a future for it, I mean I’m excited about the PC adapter but PC won’t even be able to access most of the features that even made it worth getting in general
-
Has anyone used and enjoyed the theater mode? That was the reason I wanted one. 500 is a lot but I don’t have a great monitor or tv so I thought maybe the headset could be a good substitute.
-
bro thats kinde funny they bringing a pc Adapter for it now and you selling it
-
All they had to do was give us the comparability to use it with all games
-
It’s basically a PS Vita situation but with a peripheral, not shocked by this at all. Especially when you consider around 10 years ago Sony decided to pour over some of the exclusive vita titles over to PS4 to sell more money. Sony on their gaming division will bring something out and then they expect everybody else to support it when they don’t even support it themselves, at least to point where they probably should.
-
VR2 is still getting new game titles released, this was massive click bait . I use my VR2 at launch and love it
-
Nobody asked people to purchase it
-
I bought into the PSVR hype with the Gen 1 release and pretty quickly noticed that it was no more than a side hustle for Sony with the meager support it got so I pledged to never buy this Gen 2 model. Guess I was right and dodged a bullet.
-
I knew the vr would crash and burn the price was too high for your average consumer
-
The price was the issue. I would have bought one. But I'm like, I don't even play VR like that, and it's 500..... HARD noooo for me💯
-
at :56 you can see where he deployed his parachute and abandoned the psvr2.
