I do t knit but I am an American living in Vilnius and Im glad you enjoyed the city. I have completely fallen in love with it here and its such a hidden gem. Hope you make it back!
  • Iā€™ve never seen any of your videos, but Iā€™m from Vilnius and just had to watch this! Iā€™m glad you had a great time, late spring and summer is the best time to visit because Vilnius looks itā€™s best with all the greenery.

Just came back here to tell you I ordered some yarn on etsy the other day and afterwards noticed where it was coming from exactly. I looked at the logo and realized it's the first yarn store you visited! I just had to come tell you. What a small world. I'm in the US, middle TN to be exact near Nashville.šŸ’™šŸ¤—

While linen may seem rough on the skin, after you wash it and wear it around for a bit it gains some softness. Linen clothing is perfect for the summer, because it doesn't keep the body heat in. The main disadvantage of it is the lack of stretch, so knitting is annoying with it, but the result is worth it!

Greetings from Vilnius! I buy from these shops but mostly we buy online and very often - Italian stock yarn. It is made for machine knitting and sold with big discount. Some types, like carded wool, changes dramatically after washed. One of such shops Mados Garazas is open in Vilnius offline as well. I visit them often to find exact color tone. We have local not bad linen yarn manufacturer, Lino namai. Latvia and Estonia make great sheep wool yarn.
  • Wow loved this episode! Such fun to see everything. I admit I had to look at google maps to see where Vilnius was. Would love to visit one day. Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks for sharing, Vilnius is beautiful.
  • I went to Vilnius a few years back in February, when it was -15CĀ° but still loved it šŸ˜ I think it's definitely worth going in spring time, it seems beautiful (and slightly less cold... šŸ˜…)

Beautiful footage! I absolutely love living in Vancouver but seeing this I miss old European city centres (mostly smaller cities/towns). The charm can't be beat.

It's always so strange (and fun) to see my country appear in the little internet corners I frequent, that are very western europe/british/american centered. Thank you for the vlog. I would invite you to Klaipėda, Lithuania, but mostly for the beaches, not so much knitting and yarn :D

Such a nice episode! I'm currently in Lisbon and just had a yarn shopping day today, but I have been here for 4 days and only now have time to relax and knit a bit, so the same thing happened for me! Luckily I packed only 1 project with me which is also with thin yarn, so enough to knit during the flights but not taking too much space in the luggage.

I love this episode so much! Iā€™ve been to Vilnius twice and so I recognized some of the places. šŸ’—

Excited to watch this! It just popped up in my feed after being here for almost 3 weeks! I've only been to one shop in senamiestis, near where I'm living, so I'm happy for recommendations!

I go to the third store almost every time I go to Lithuania šŸ˜
