This is my detailed building review of the latest LEGO Icons car, the 10337 Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole! It really is an iconic car from the 80s that has been recreated by many talented builders. Can the official version live up to the hype?

I like the white even when 911 is same colour. It's so iconic for the 80’s

so idk if its just me but ive quickly noticed that the taillights seem way too large, correct me if im wrong but they should be a decently smaller than their current state

The black one would have been cool. Maybe they will release that in the future

Why does the speedchampion look somewhat more accurate than the much bigger brother? The rear lights have a more accurate scale on the SC. The front of the SC has more of the original lines with the very front of the front being slightly narrower and most interestingly I think the proportions of the SC are closer to the real one??? But that could be due to not seeing the new model in person. Plus the lights are more or less the same on both models building technique wise which is crazy with the difference in scale On the SC we even got a sticker for the pop up lights which is missing completely on the new model

Please make a comparison between the countach built using the porche 911 set. I’d love to see wether I should buy the official set or keep the one I’ve already built😂

As a Lambo fan I'm very disappointed with this set. How can a moccer with limited pieces (the one based on the 911) recreate 95% of the spirit of the Countach while a licensed designer butchers it makin the model literally a door stopper ? The dually tires are kind of ok but the overall shape is a big no for me. The pop-up headlights might be possible in a later moc but the rear trunk and some details are gone forever. The decision not to make a 400 version (the so called "Periscopio") is another downside of this project as historically that version is much more elegant, rare and valuable. At least they didn't give us the revolting USDM version with those ugly bumpers! Epic review as usual, keep 'em coming, cheers from Italy!
  • Since they already did a Speed Champions 5000QV (and in white and with red interior), it would have been nice to do my personal favorite, the 25th Anniversary model. You know, for a change. And they should have done the wheels in white.

    That build is amazing

I will definitely buy this set i been always a big fan of classic old cars from the 80s
  • I like the majority of it, however the front end especially the line from the roof to the front bumper is just wrong. It messes with the silhouette. Also no pop up headlights is a miss. Otherwise the car is pretty well done.

I cannot wait for this I loved the other Icons cars I have built (mustang fastback, camaro Z28, Corvette convertable, delorean)
  • @snowflake7233
Absolutely perfect, the rear end looks even better irl than on the box

I have every Lego creator expert and icon car. I cannot wait to get this. It looks just as nice as all the rest. I graduated from high school in 1985 so I have fond memories of this car.
