  • “I did not put myself on a book buying ban because I like to be happy.” You are so real for that lol

Just came across your channel, and like you also love watching other people do this tag! Magnolia Parks has been on my list for so long...I really want to get to it! I haven't cried to ANY books this year and I feel like I need a good sob 😂

You like it darker has some of my favourite Stephen King short stories, hope you enjoy it. I'm excited for the fourth book in the Southern Reach Trilogy, although I think you were a bit meh on the first book if I remember!

I've been having a good reading year so far, getting through stuff that I've had on the tbr for a while. I really enjoyed both In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado and The Hearts Invisible Furies by John Boyne. My absolute favourite though has to be Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. I've been thinking about it since I finished it a month ago, I devoured it in two days. The world building was amazing and I had to get up and walk around my room when I realised where the story was going, absolutely buzzing lol. An instant all-time favourite book.

Wow Aspen!! You’re doing great on your goal. I only started reading at the beginning of June because the first half of this year was hectic, so I’m definitely behind on my goal :,( I have the same goal as you… read more of the physical books I have. Soon I will have no more room haha. 😂

It’s so funny how reading tastes differ. I LOVED ghost station. I related to the main character’s relationship with & quotes about her Dad. 6 star book for me 🤣

I mostly read horror and thrillers, but recently picked up Part Of Your World by Abby Jimenez. I loved it so much. Now I'm reading Yours Truly and I think I love it even more. The characters feel like real people, and I enjoy the whitty, snarky banter. I recommend giving her a try if you haven't read her yet. I'd love to hear your thoughts.😊
