Published 2024-08-07
New developments are emerging in the effort to help millions of people who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, including our veterans.
The FDA is set to issue a decision by August 11 on the use of MDMA as a potential therapy. There’s been a lot of debate over the quality of the studies that have been done, so far.

Worried about the side effects of MDMA? Like there are no side effects from pharmaceuticals that are already prescribed??? Lame excuse.

The system is worried that it will work.

It's better than suicide or many veterans that have been addicted to heroin
  • Science delayed over 30 years now. Not to mention treatment. Not to mention lives lost. Not to mention other tragedies. For the love of God, FDA!❤

Make it legal please, can you imagine if people were just allowed to be happy in their own situations.🤷‍♂️

So just keep handing the vets unlimited Xanax, that will do the trick (sarcasm)
  • We send these guys into overwhelming trauma for the sake of corporate military money making, convincing them they are saving our freedom. Then we scratch our heads when they can't function at home. Makes me sick.

I seriously hope this goes through. Ptsd is like having a nonstop war going on in your mind and body, and its so debilitating. There is not nearly enough treatments that work, let alone trauma /ptsd treatment centers.

how about we stop going to war... that would prevent them from getting PTSD in the first place
  • A person should be given the freedom of choice to choose which treatment they want for their body. Mushrooms, MDMA, THC, Xanax, etc. The FDA shouldn't have a say in any of this. Lea e it up to the patient and the doctor.
  • Its not a "NOVEL" treatment. It was used in THOUSANDS of therapy sessions with great success before it was made illegal. At the very least, they should approve it for our veterans even if just for a trial year and then study the results. Who are they to deny any possible treatment for those who have sacrificed their ability to just simply be.

Take happy mushrooms, no long term side effects and no "experts" needed.
  • Mdma is amazing. You can't have a bad day or let your trauma get to you when you're on that

Rewiring synapses in ways that we may not know what the long term results are
