Slow Simple Living | the peaceful rhythm of home

Published 2022-07-06
Welcome to my home! I'm Kristina Franziska, and I believe that the magic of slow and simple living can help us thrive while we nurture kind & compassionate families.

Through the wisdom of our ancestors and our modern understanding of emotional wellness, we can create truly calm, peaceful, and sustainable homes.

In this video, I make:
instant pot clotted cream
lemon curd
english scones made with leftover clotted cream whey
lavender london fog

I am wishing you as much calm and peace as your day can possibly hold.
Love,
Kristina

I really enjoyed this! It made me think about the difference between living slowly and living slothfully- you can live slowly without laziness and diligently pursue good things that bring health and joy to our families’ lives! New subscriber. 😍
  • I enjoy your perspective on life. I am a 4th grade teacher who welcomed exhausted students into the classroom this Monday. After chatting with them I learned that they are tired because they all play multiple sports, participate in dance competitions, and are generally very busy with structured activities the entire weekend. I wish they could understand how to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I'm off to make a cup of tea and enjoy some quiet time. Thanks for your video. 🙂

This video is art, and it stirred so much emotion within me. This is Devine feminine energy in the most kind, beautiful, gentle light.

I felt like I was listening to myself! I also homeschool, am an HSP and am constantly striving to have a peaceful home that supports nervous systems and souls. It's an uphill battle going against the current but I'm grateful to find another sojourner in this journey. I look forward to your videos. And I encourage you to not allow all the filming, editing and responding intrude too much on your peace-filled life!
  • This is gorgeous, a simple elegance that I can't look away from! Love listening to your voice, and your message is so timely & lovely. Cheers to intentional, slower living 🙏🏼🌱🍋🍓

This is exactly what I needed to say to myself but couldn't find the words to express, I long for simple living with my closed ones but unfortunately I find resistance at every turn and begin to doubt my not so popular intentions. Thank you, I been guided to your post and I truly appreciate at this now time. For the blessings.
  • Such a calming and inspiring visual meditation! This is gorgeous and I’ll be following along to help me recenter and bring some soul back into my family life! Thank you for this gift!
  • What a beautiful video, I’m an HSP also, which is something you seldom see in regard to slow living. I really appreciate it and your message. Bless you, and thanks for the effort
  • Kristina, I think you are a kindred spirit. I too am a very sensitive soul and of late I find myself meditating, which helps my anxiety, and baking. I've been making sourdough bread for 2-1/2 years now and I love giving it away to neighbors and friends and anyone that I think might like it. I am going to make some individual apple pies since I have several granny smith apples and an onion soup that I've made before that is delicious. I don't have an instant pot, but would love the recipes for clotted cream and the lemon curd. This is so beautifully video taped. I've subscribed. Your home is so lovely and cozy. I really like your philosophy as well. Too much stimulation from social media has turned people into addicts. They would benefit from watching your videos. Thank you for doing this.
  • I find this way of life so fulfilling . Sometimes it’s so hard to slow down in this society where everything is so fast paced. But these steps are great to help with that!
