  • It's true what Simon Sinek, author of "Leaders Eat Last" once said, that great leaders are those who make the right decision under a lot of pressure, even if it costs them their position. This was the case of Jimmy Carter in my opinion. The media tends to praise those that cause recessions, rather than those who fix them.
  • After watching all those videos on hedge fund managers countless times, I've come online to check on Rocky's new episodes from time to time. This new documentary on Volcker has got me to sign in and put down my first ever comment on Youtube...... Incredible Incredible Incredible!!! I feel guilty not having to pay a dime for this.....

Please do a doc on Reuben Sturman, the American business man who pioneered tax havens and tax evasion strategies still utilized by the ultra wealthy to this day.

WOW. Amazing video as always! You manage to turn something "boring", that you read about in school books, into an exciting video. Also, big respect to Volcker and Carter for putting their own necks at risk and doing the right thing - that takes courage!

Since you mentioned the adoption of the Central bank, you should do a documentary on the Jekyl Island meeting that made it possible. Explore the reasons it was so secretive and name the players. It is a very interesting and obviously impactful meeting that occurred.
  • I recommend everyone read/listen to a book called "The creature from Jekyll Island." It provides a comprehensive understanding of the history of the Federal Reserve. Most people have no idea what they do or why they were even created so if you wish to discover that check the book out. The amount of power and influence the Federal Reserve yields is truly amazing.
