    1. Communicate in terms of their values 2. Create dialogue 3. Convey congruence 4. Consider your Lexicon - Do your words accurately convey the dynsmicity of your ideas - Do your words accurately convey how you feel about certain things -Do your words accurately convey the seriousness or the profundity of a situation How do you build that lexicon? I have been struggling with being articulate for many years as English is my second language. This is a perfect example of how the YouTube algorithm does present relevant content as needed.

Great video!!! Several additional points during conversations. 1. Find common ground and try to agree with some of the comments of the person you are speaking with. 2. Summarize the points of person you are speaking with you to make them feel they are being heard. 3. Give the person you are speaking with your full attention and concentration. 4. Be warm and smile. If the person makes a joke, do your best to laugh. Compliment something about them. 5. Speak favorable about other people rather than negatively. 6. Don't attack/challenge the persons credibility. Make people feel good about themselves.

I’m always fascinated by the way ppl speak and have quick comebacks , I’m horrible at that and it stresses me out when I have to talk , it’s truly an art to have good banter .

Dr. Lee is absolutely spot on! I can’t be the only one that misses a minute or two because in my mind, I’m aligning my experience with her words. I often have to go back a couple of minutes because of this. This is the best advice on business mindset I’ve ever heard!

Great video Dr. Lee! I'm in technology and media and through my work with voice in radio, film, tv, music and podcasting over many years, I've found that effective communication is a mix of all of these concepts. Not just confidence or "knowing what you're talking about", its really quite fascinating. Great presentation!

I always in a F1 race like mood to sum up my conversation. And i think many can relate to this.that's the main hindrance in professional growth as we cannot say what we actually want to say and regret it later.
