Anyone bashing 'built' cars either has never owned one nor built one. When you have $25k into something YOU created versus an $80k vehicle anyone with financing can walk in and get a cookie cutter car..... You'll never understand the pride

Holy shit an 8.74 in a civic. That’s the car that every guy with a turbo civic revving at a stop light wishes he had.
  • I’m not a Honda fan, but I definitely smiled when that ‘lude gapped the snot out of that “hellcat”

The old adage holds true: if the other car doesn't look like it should be racing, it's gonna win.

When I saw the second Beetle I knew the Camaro was about to eat dirt

I've built plenty and bought a few very nice rides and the difference is the bought one can be used everyday no issues where the built one always has those funny issues oh you have to do this and push this before you start it and it overheats in traffic is a popular one

The moment that Camaro saw that beetle he knew he was f*cked

8:08 That's the most honda thing ever. mismatched body panels, jacked up paint, avoids the water box like he has some actual HP under the hood. Then biffs the launch, struggles to handle the 118 WHP and lays down a mid 15 second quarter lol. No doubt he got to the pits, put his flat-brimmed cap on and had 15 excuses why that run was bad. Edit: No, 9:35 is the most honda thing ever lol
  • That GNX at the beginning isnt suprising at all, thats just a GNX being a GNX

I don't hate on either(built or bought)....at least they racing!!!

I never understood why drag car builders totally ignore aerodynamics forward of the front wheels. Sure, it's fast. But you're fighting 200HP of drag with no hood at 100 miles an hour lol. Maybe it's because I'm an aerospace engineer, but it's nice when people consider more than just drag wings.

8:47 Am i crazy, or do both of these drag racers have the reaction time of a 103 year old woman?
