I was cutting bowl cuts in the 80's. That is what this is. A pixie is a short layered cuts. As close as you can cut with your fingers. This is a bowl cut with textured ends.

Actually, I think it looks great on her. Gave her more volume ad lift. Made her hair look soft and full. Easy blow dry and go style and always put together. Not everyone can wear this cut, but this woman pulls it off. I thought the same thing at first, until finished. She does not look like a man.

I cut my own hair and I went to the comments as soon as I saw her do the second round with the trimmers. I'm so relieved! Thanks for confirming that I was right to be horrified.

Someone needs to take the clippers away from that stylist.

I'm a senior too and I got a haircut just like this one 6 months ago at Great Clips for $12. I was so traumatized that I haven't had a haircut since. I went in looking like a woman and came out looking like a man with a bowl haircut. The stylist (if you can even call him that, didn't even ask me what I wanted, just started chopping and shearing. Stylists do not understand that senior woman are already feeling less feminine than they used to be because of menopause. To give them a haircut that looks manly only adds insult to injury. There are lot of cute and FEMININE pixie cuts out there that look feminine and sexy. This was NOT one of them.

No part of this horrific video was a pixie. It looked like a student struggling their way thru an undercut, disconnected Bob. This was painful and if this was done to my mom or grandmother I would have HUMILIATED the fool who did this!

I am over 60 and I have a bob haircut that is slightly longer than my chin. I have been told by hair stylists that a bob is too young of a style for me and that I should get a cute pixie cut. This video is the reason why I will not let anyone attempt to give me a pixie cut. I now have a stylist who will cut my hair the way I want it.

I'm not a professional, but it kinda looked like the hairdresser just kept cutting it shorter and shorter to even out mistakes 🤔

This is why I do my own hair, they always seem to do what they want to do and not what I want. If I messed it up then it’s my fault. I don’t want to pay someone to mess up my haircut.

I am 78 and I thought this hair cut was fantastic. I would love to have one like it.

She took a new look and made it into a typical old lady cut, especially in the back where her hair could have been been blended more and left longer. My opinion.

Well, this brings back a bad memory. I had a haircut from hell a couple weeks ago. It looks horrid! I told the stylist what I wanted and she kept cutting and cutting. I didn't realize what she was doing. I'm letting my grey hair come in and asked her to get rid of the blonde parts in it. Well, she sure did. I walked out of there looking like I had been scalped. I didn't confront her. I actually thought is this what I'm really seeing? Why do some stylists get scissor happy and cut hair like they were mowing a lawn. It makes you wonder how did they get their license ???? This is almost criminal!! The stylist that buzzed off this woman's hair should have just put a bowl on her head and cut it. I feel bad for this lady. We are paying money for this and we get haircuts from hell!!! I'm getting mad again looking at this!!! 😳😲
