Boss Tips: Vanitas either begins the battle by instantly closing in on Sora with downward slash attacks or by him projecting dark slashes towards Sora. These have their own patterns that can let you start off the battle without taking any damage. Vanitas' DMs can also be skipped. When he is about to ride on the wave of keyblades, have Sora quick step to him and instantly attack to throw him off balance. This comes in handy if you are not confident in dodging his clones for his final DM. He has no armor in this fight.
