i remember the first time i played morrowind. picked argonian, walked back and forth in the first room just watching him walk thinking how good a purchase i just made

If you actually open a conversation with him before him reaching ground, he epigrammatically says: "I do not want to talk about this..." 😂 Indeed a great game.

Them scrolls of icarian flight will help you cross the entire island. Just aim for some nice soft water.

This was one of the most foundational moments in my time gaming. I was 7, playing on my older brother’s friends’ x-box and I remember how dumbfounded and mystified I was when this wizard fell from the sky. I told everyone I knew 😂

I forgot where but I seen somebody save him. They got under him and he wouldn't complete the fall because the player was underneath him. They then used slowfall on him and he lands fine. When talking to him, all he says is "I don't want to talk about it." 😂

I know that outfit, you definitely met that dead tax man and stole his clothes and septems XD

I’ve played 1000s of hours of oblivion, Skyrim, and even some daggerfall. Never played morrowind till yesterday and I’m having a blast. I reloaded my save like 4 times to watch that guy fall over and over again. 10/10

I saved him using an item i made specifically for the occasion. Ring of slow fall 1 on target for 10 seconds for 100 feet. Spam it until he plops down and lives.

it is a great game. I remember when I got jump scared by a rat on a road to next town during night time… And there was a Dinosaur looking thing eating something, i could only see barely through the fog. I didn’t disturbed it of course, I was eager to reach the next town asap lol….

i miss the the magic from morrowind... flying, jumping 2 km high... i know you can mess skyrim up with mods to do it... but here it was implemented in the game on purpose... and thats so cool

As an avid rpg fan born in 2002 I have to say morrowind is the best rpg I’ve played overall, and it still exists and can be played and enjoyed multiple times unlike other rpgs we have today where you don’t even own the game and the characters you put hours into and the world they exist in are constantly being ruined in updates. It stands the test of time and shows that heart and soul, good world building and fun mechanics in a game will always be more important that technical advancements that detract from more important aspects of role playing games.
