Carey Mulligan is my favourite modern actress. She had excellent expressions, vocal ability and access to emotion in this film. I've never quite seen her like this.

Maestro is a jewel of a movie. It is a miracle. And congrats to everyone who had a part in making it.
  • I wish I could experience this film in front of the big screens, at home wasn't enough. Just brilliant film with unbelievable performances.

I Dont care if people say „ohhh it’s not about bernsteins music“ or „it’s called maestro“. I really enjoyed the marriage topic. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Great acting and great picture. 🙌🏽

After having wept for several minutes following my view of the film Maestro ... and having recuperated my equilibrium nee breath ... I can honestly say this was not acting, this was beyond a tour de force (directorial) performance. Bernstein was revived through Bradley and the mysterious creative muses are fully alive. Astonishing.

Would’ve loved to see this on the big screen with Dolby sound especially during the orchestration scene and choir scene. Overall, Bradley did an incredible job. The attention to detail in terms of production design, costume, makeup, cinematography and of course score were all top-notch. And the performances of Bradley and especially Carey were nothing short of stunning.

This may be the most beautiful film that I have ever seen, and I am a film aficionado going all the way back to the creation of film in the 1890s. I see a comparison between the beauty of "Maestro" and the beauty of "Yentl," directed by Barbra Streisand. Both of these incredible directors have an impeccable aesthetic sense.

25:02 Bradley Cooper gives beautifully expressive conducting gestures for the final crescendo leading to a his powerful release gesture at the end. Powerful and moving!

Love watching everyone who worked on a film speak about the film. Makes me wish we could get a behind the scenes look at every movie that comes out.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Carey Mulligan...when "her Felicia" lost her temper and inflected her American speech with Latin American pace, passion and ferocity... sublime. Bradley Cooper is superb. I was blown away by both their performances. The skill, the craft is amazing. And then there's every single person who made this movie happen. Fantastic.

Even in these videos, I find myself asking myself: "is that Cooper? or is that Bernstein?" in many shots it is impossible to tell the difference...that is amazing storytelling...amazing movie craft...dts/usa
