  • Otis is adorabIe!! just got my 3 month old Maine Coon Odin. I Do clean his litter box every single day though and feed wet food only with dry kibble every once in a while. I also have a running water fountain for him, which he loves. Even though he's not shedding much now, I still brush him every day to get him used to it. im excited to see how big he gets. thanks for this video!

Clean your litter box at least once a day. No exceptions. Just do it. Have more than 1 litter box. Stop feeding dry food. Period. Stop free feeding. Feed an appropriate amount on a schedule. Cleaning a litter box only once a week is standard practice? That's disgusting and cruel. You have no idea, cats are doing humans a huge favor by using a litter box, so do them a favor and keep it clean and not force them to have to tip toe around their waste. Your nose and guests will thank you for it too. \ Kibble is horrible for your cat, it's the cause of the feline obesity epidemic. Kibble was born out of convenience, lookup the history and how it's made. The meat in kibble is exposed to high temperatures up to four times during processing rendering it so far from actual meat, it's laughable we are feeding this to such loved animals we consider family. Cats are carnivores, they should only be eating meat. Raw is ideal, but wet/canned food is 100x better than kibble. No more dry food. Just stop.
