    I am a simple man - I see John Oliver, I click

Oliver makes a great point, intelligent satire of Trump is more difficult, not less. Most comedians pluck the low hanging fruit, the outrageous racist tweets, flying hair, hypocritical behavior, self serving tax proposals. But the real damage he is doing to the US goes beyond that, and will last far longer than his term in office. To probe deeper requires more careful journalistic investigative skills, to do what newsprint investigative journalism has done in the past. How John Oliver manages to do that (and make it funny) takes genius.

John Oliver always seems like a really enjoyable person to be around.

I have to be honest: I don't get the Beyonce madness. She has great songs, but... What am I missing? Does she do philanthropic work or something like that? Does she own charities? Go read for the blind, sing for the deaf - sorry, couldn't help myself. Please enlighten me. I remember when she was pregnant all those weird pictures came out of her. LOL. It was funny :)

In terms of comedy and satire, you don't get much bigger than John Oliver, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. ^_^

Do you think Beyonce is watching this, amused by these mere mortals fascination with her?
  • I love when these two get together. Thanks Seth for having John on.

I love it when John is a guest at Seth's show. They're so happy to tell jokes together and be silly.

God i wish John could run for President..... Sidebar: Wouldn't it truly be in the spirit of an immigrant founded country to allow immigrants to run it?

If they ever decide to relaunch Mr. Bean I gotta say John Oliver would be AMAZING!

It's funny, John Oliver would drop to his knees in utter adoration if he ever met Beyoncé and I'm pretty sure I'd do the same if I ever met John Oliver.
