The way the Charger was still breathing and calling out to the Captain saying he's still alive was kinda haunting.
  • @ZenDaSynth
One of the things I love most about these animations is how we actually get to see the bad guys kick ass for once.

The difference between human cp and synth soldier is hauntingly beautiful. Human CP: When injured, looking at attackers for mercy or help. Synth Soldier: When injured, called to his squad leader that he is still alive. I have a small bit of sympathy for the civil protection, they are trying to survive. I am horrified by the killing machines that are the soldiers.

2:09 the way the soldier’s footsteps sync with the fading of thunder is genius. The rebels don’t even notice it at first because the thunder masks it, and they only react when they realize… “that thunder has been trailing for a bit too long…”

2:22 Imagine blasting someone point blank with a shotgun and hearing him radio back "Hostile spikes ineffective"
  • @catlover6495
Dude, the wallhammer at the end still giving his ordinal information about the anti-civilians, really just shows how far their augmentations are. One sentence, holy fucking shit.
  • The thing I love about 0:35 is that you hear the soldier at the window grunt instead of doing the flatline noise, which foreshadows him being alive later
  • @MrOof-ob8uw
I love at how 2:19 the charger states "Don't resist" because of how he immediately isnt on kill order. And then he immediately blasts the shit out of the technician when she fires at him. Love that

Dude this is one of the most high quality sfm animations ever made. The acting, the sound, the movement, everything is incredible.
  • @TheRealSkyEdits
0:35 the first combine doesn’t make a flatline so he didn’t die yet love the attention to detail!
  • @Boromir_vlogs
2:20 holy shit, yeah I knew that alive CP was a problem. The hammer nailed those rebels in just about 15 seconds.
  • The ending dialogue from the Charger is just plain unsettling. The explosion left him blind and near death, he reports to the Oridinal that he has negative visual on the target but that he is still alive, the oridinal responds simply by saying that a containment team is inbound.
  • What I love about these type of animations is that no character has plot armor. Giving a sense of realism.
  • i love the detail of the metrocop breathing hesitantly before deciding to take a stand and fight at the beginning, really highlights the human instinct that separates the metrocops from the soldiers
  • @j8kezdaman490
i love this short so much, one thing i really thought was cool was how at 2:40 the wall-hammer just lets out a scream under all of the chaos before hitting the guy, like hes actually getting frustrated fighting these guys

My god combine feels like unstopable killing machine, who can kill you with single punch, and that amazing atmosphere, i watched on one breath. Amazing work
  • @Resi1ience
It never occurred to me how terrifying Wallhammers must be.
  • The phrase "Preparing hammer" is the last thing you want to hear when you're trapped in a small room with Wallhammer. Plus I love how his baton isn't just some stunstick, he literally just kills you with one hit.
