Just saw them in Buffalo not long ago. They're my favorite ska band ever. When they come for me I'll be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand wearing a bullet proof vest singing my my my how the time does fly when you know you're gonna die by the end of the night!
  • saw the title and thought 'wonder if hes on about streetlight manifesto' turns out i was close!!

I always found a bit baffling that Catch-22 has remained somewhat active as a band yet they haven't ever released anything since 2006, not even an EP or anything of the short. Then again Streetlight releases a new album every 76 years so what do I know.

Didn't Catch 22 just turn into Streetlight Manifesto? and isn't Streetlight Manifesto still a band, or they were till recently? Mystery solved... Also, if you've ever listened to keasbey nights, there is no way you forgot about Catch 22.

Tom only plays Tom's songs that he wrote* It's literally in a lyric in A Moment of Silence "If you hate me so much then stop singing MY SONGS"

So, Streetlight is Kalnoky taking his songs back? kinda like DK, where both bands are playing the same songs? I always wondered what the deal was with these two. Thanks for this. Anyways, It'd be funny to see Catch 22/ Streetlight on the same bill.

I saw Catch-22 play just 2 weeks ago in London Ontario Canada. I was both shocked and excited to see that they were touring again, but it ended up being one of the worst live performances I've ever seen - the band kept making mistakes and were so out of synch with each other that it felt like they hadn't played together in years. It was a stark contrast to their amazing live shows during their heyday, like when I saw them at the Opera House in Toronto about 20 years ago (or more?).

As a Hungarian, I suppose he is also Hungarian, and his name is pronounced Kálnoky

Streetlights better. Tom delivered the knockout line "if you hate me so much then stop singing my songs"
