I gave this a try. A fun thing which seemed a little broken: The 'hive' maps. Pair two upgrades and it was non stop gems. Forget the names, one causes enemies to explode when killed, the other makes enemies drop gems when killed. Why is this broken here? A large section of the map has tiles that spawn bees when dug up. And the bees then explode, making gems, breaking more tiles....which spawn more bees...
