Just imagine the clones doing a haka in front of battle droids
  • @Nooby_m
Some people laugh, but if a Maori does the haka in front of you, you should be honoured.
  • @timandshannon03
The people laughing have no idea the honor that is being bestowed on them.

Temuera: shopping Fans: "can you please sign this" Temuera: "im just a simple man trying to make my way through the grocery store"

I wonder if Morrison is aware of New Zealand's heavy influence on mandalorian culture.

I wish all American actors were as gracious and friendly with their fans. Temuera Morrison is a guy who truly appreciates everything he has and everything he is, that includes the star wars fans he's dancing with. Stay classy.
  • @Tfichtenbaum
to the guy laughing you do know the Mandalorians where based off of the Maori warriors
  • @Dom8o8
So stoked he’s Boba and is back with his own show!

The haka is supposed to inspire fear, but I'm in awe when I see it. Temuera Morrison, The Rock, and Jason Momoa have not only done it at public events, but also incorporated it into their work. Its cool to see them give it a place of honor, even in a galaxy far far away.
  • This guy is so cool. Be nice to see him in full Maori regalia. How awesome would it be to see a batallion of clones doing the haka for their fallen brothers?
  • @sampsonlll1825
Seeing him so connected with both fans and his own Maori culture makes me happy he's playing Boba Fett. Now I imagine Fett, doing a similar haka infront of a mythosaur shrine on Slave1 to honor his ancestors and get his mind right for whatever he's going to face.

Met him and Daniel Logan when I was stationed in Japan when they were promoting ROTS. Awesome guy, very down to earth.
  • I hope in the future we get to see the Mandalorians do some kind of Hakka based intimidation.
  • Nearly a decade later he brings this into The Mandalorian. If we don’t get a big group Mandalorian Haka next season, I’m out.

Here in 2020 ... & 2021. Kinda cool seeing this, as this clip is from a decade ago, & now he's back as Boba in The Mandalorian, kicking ass using a Gaffi stick in a Maori way against storm troopers.

My cousin got married a few years ago to a guy who’s parents are from Tonga which is a pacific island and at their wedding reception they had some people from the family who were these giant Tongan guys dressed up in kind of a tribal look and they did the haka and it was pretty cool to see. It’s cool when Temura does it but imagine like 10 people doing it

that is awesome! I hear some people laughing personally I think it's wrong to laugh when Tem Morrison is honoring the people with the Haka dance, it is not something to be taken lightly it is a great honor when a Maori tribesmen does the Haka. I love how much heart and pride He has in his culture :) not to mention how awesome He is with all the fans he has that is amazing how kind and great he is with everyone.

Can you imagine a clan of Mandalorians doing a Haka? RESPECT!
