[Arknights] EASY way to beat CW-EX-8 CM

Kristen need to be alive to keep override left bottom balls, just kill her phase two when she's the only one left on the field

Thanks Blemi! Never thought I'd reach a point where I could feasibly do your strats yet here we are after a year of playing. Makes me feel very nostalgic. For everyone who also happens to have everything except Weedy maxed and is using this as a guide for the normal mode: I needed E2 S7 Weedy and many, many assists from a maxed out (don't have max pots) Texalter and Level 1 Yatoalter. This event and video have singlehandedly forced more progress on my account than any I've made in all of 2023. - Ran into an opening problem in normal mode where Exu refuses to target Kirsten and focuses the big guys. Had to bring out Nearlter for that and the timing was still tight. This is likely from me not having regular Texas' -4 DP module which makes Exu start her skill too late. According to other comments, this happens in CM as well. - No masteries on E2 level 1 Weedy meant I followed another commentor's advice on bringing a 2nd healer besides Warfarin (Shining) and deploying immediately after Weedy. - Cannot use Weedy's pewpew at all on enemies otherwise I repeatedly risk the enemies getting pushed PAST Weedy into the blue box. Likely a problem from lack of M3. - Spent too many retries messing up Eyja's placements during Kirsten's phase 2. No idea why. This was literally half the battle for me. - Brought a support Bagpipe to try and mitigate the Texas module problem. Doesn't solve it but makes the first redeploys to kill Kirsten and lance guy going for Weedy smoother. I have to try and hope this works out in CM now. This setup was the easiest to execute in a very painful stage. Anyways its important you need your texas to be at the lowest deploy cost possible (if you haven't noticed), my Weedy was E1 lvl 80 with no mastery so I had to buy time for her by blocking the first jedi wannabe with Texalter (you can use any fast redeploy like gravel) if you want to be safe you can also block one of the first dagger guys, you can also instead bring another medic aside from warfarin like Shining with S2 to keep Weedy alive, once your Weedy's skill is activated the stage is easy again and you just have to follow the guide. If you think your Eja won't deal enough damage to the ball below her just use a fast redeploy to help her destroy it in my case I used Kirin Yato. Goodluck dokutahs!

After my last comment on the guide for CWS4, I went back to this one. I had tried yesterday with no success because I couldn't burst Kristen enough on the first phase. Most of my characters had not the level or skill requirements. So I had to improvise. First what I have: Skalter E260, S3M1, Weedy E170, Exusiai E269 S3M2 (only had M1, so yesterday farmed mats like crazy for her M2) Module X1, Kal'tsit E270 S3M2 Module X1 and Eyjafjalla E290 S3M1 Module X1. Once again, I don't have Nearl, so I used my Saria E269 S1M3 Module X1. I don't have Warfarin, so I got one from Support (E250 S2M3 Module X2). My Texas is only a E170 Pot4, so she wasn't enough to survive. What I changed: I replaced Texas with Myrtle E230 S2M3, Ines E240 S2M2 to protect her and help with DP and mobs, plus Bagpipe E230 to speed vanguards up (and kill stranded mobs in case I had no one else to deploy). Also added Texas Alter E290 S2M1 Module Y3 AND Kirin R Yato E260 S2M1 Module X2 to help burst Kristen on Phase 1 and also help kill some stranded mobs. Also added Susurro if Warfarin heal on Weedy wasn't enough (it was). Once I got enough DP and killed the second dog with Ines, I replaced her with Kal'tsit. As soon as the last Senior Member crossed the box near Warfarin, I deployed my Exusial (since she can't charge the skill fast enough) then a second later the Seaborn. As soon as her skill is ready (which is about when Kristen uses her first attack on Exusial), I use Warfarin skill as usual (and remove her), deploy Texas Alter in front of Kristen and Kirin R Yato on her right side. That was enough for me to phase her. From them on, after removing all of them plus Myrtle, I then deploy Weedy as usual. One mistake I was making was deploying her right after Kristen phase, which would result on the lower left ball to go up and enemies leaking from there. Took me 2 tries to realize that I need to wait for all the balls to charge first, d'oh. Since Weedy S2 is slower to load and she is weak, I would deploy Texas Alter, Kirin R Yato and Ines to kill the mobs going after her. Once her skill was up, I could forget about the left side. Also deployed my executors in the right side because I kept forgetting to use Kal'tsit skill, lol. From there, once Saria blocked Kristen and all the mobs were gone, I also used my executors to burst her further together with Eyjafjalla. At one point in the Practice I added Mlynar (E269 S3M3) but it was pointless and he would often die before charging his skill. Thank you so much for those guides. For the first time since I started playing this game on March of this year, I managed to get all the medals of an event. Now unto reading the story, lol.

A rare S2 Weedy showcase. Actually i beaten the stage while forgetting to destroy the corrupted balls. Using Chalter, Texas Alter, Yato Alter S2, Monster in the center, Eyja at the very center of the map, and Lin. Technically either arts heavy hitter or defense ignore tools. What i see from this video, is someone could copy this and adding an extra Texas Alter since it has 1 deployment slot left, when the car coming. She will helps when someone missed the Eyja activation timing.

Fantastic guide, my setup for normal EX-8 couldn't work (Surtr/Mudrock) and i had only 30min left until the event ends, no time to think about it too long^^ i made it thanks to you !

omg blemiCHUCHU blemi blemi BLEMICHICHI THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i swapped out exusiai for pozy and added yato alter and texalter to burst kristen down and also to protect my weedy cuz she's baby (lmao e140) i cherish this guide so much cuz i wanted to cry, was at it for 4 hours.

this is perhaps the easiest and cleanest clear I've seen for this map

Beat it.. had to adjust your strats since I was missing levels and modules. I added a friendo's schwarz because I refuse to use a buffer type like warfarin. Kristen barely came out alive, I forgot to use skadi's summon to help boost both of their damage against kristen, regardless I made it work with hot-deploys of Texas-alter. I also supplemented bagpipe and a banner vanguard to help with the initial DP. I used shining to help keep weedy alive until her S2 goes activate. Afterwards I proceed as normal with eyja volcanoes and more redeploys to assist in breaking the balls. I must've missed time something, all those shield bois started rushing in towards weedy + kristen. Had to drop yaro R for the aoe and buy a bit of time for eyja to unleash her volcano. Rocket cars as normal. It's a bit tight after the first rocket car because eyja was used for the shield bois convergence. I used schwarz and reploys to take out a couple before monster was ready for the remaining ones. At the end kristen was the only one left and finished her off with both yato and texas alter.

for those that do not have texas I used myrtle and bagpipe to replace them, deploy bagpipe on monstr's spot and deploy the rest of the team first, then retreat bagpipe for kalstit and monstr at the same time. In phase two my weedy s2 is only s7 too so i added another medic and a yato alter to do the job. Thanks for the guide really easy and helped me with 1 day left to finish the event hahahaha

Reed can help heal weedy if you put her on the square next to the down then use her skill 3 to blow up all the mobs that come towards weedy it will help clear the middle as well as the skill gets pass along :D ^^

I literally copy this setup (with the change of Vanguard and Sniper). The rest are the same (may be not in potential and mastery). And I made it. So, thank you, for your lovely video.
