Today I want to cover the different signs of a deficiency in trace minerals.

Trace minerals are minerals needed in tiny or trace amounts. A few examples of important trace minerals are zinc, iodine, selenium, and iron.

Trace minerals are essential for enzymes, which are proteins that run the body.

Symptoms of zinc deficiency:
• Hair loss
• White spots on the nails
• Low testosterone
• Diarrhea

Symptoms of iron deficiency:
• Anemia (weakness, fatigue, cold sensation)
• Brittle nails
• Hair loss

Symptoms of selenium deficiency:
• Infertility
• Fatigue
• Hair loss

Symptoms of iodine deficiency:
• Swelling in the lower part of the neck

You might not notice any symptoms right away, but a trace mineral deficiency could contribute to all kinds of chronic diseases later in life. It could even increase your risk of cancer.

The best sources of trace minerals:
1. Seafood
2. Organ meats
3. Eggs
4. Seaweed or sea kelp
5. High-quality sea salt

  • It angers me when people say that you are 'just a chiropractor'. The power of research at it's finest. You know 100 times more than any doctor I know about nutrition. Please keep up the good fight. Thank you!
  • My wife and I own a small farm and use No-Till, Permaculture and Organic practices. There is a huge difference in taste, appearance and shelf life of our produce when compared to grocery store produce. We focus on soil health as healthy soil produces healthy plants that produces wonderful veggies!
  • No one should be suffering from these deficiencies! We need to hold our food industries and trusted professionals responsible from depleting these very important minerals from human viability.
  • Sardines contain selenium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, copper, and zinc. They also have less heavy metal, and I've never liked heavy metal.
  • Your channel has literally changed my life. I was able to cure several bad health issues by changing diet and tracking my micronutrients. Thank you!!!!

This Doctor needs to be cloned and put into EVERY medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about HEALTH. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos. I respect this man immensely. 😊😊👍👍

I did a survey of the incidence of dementia in Sweden, by investigating the amount of copper in the soil for the various counties and found that the amount of copper in the soil (moraine) was inversely proportional to the incidence of dementia (NPI points). The occurrence is reduced by 75% if you have approx. 15 mg/Kg of soil compared to areas that have 5 mg/Kg of copper
  • Dr Berg's daily messages have changed my life from crappy to happy. Thank you Dr.Berg ❤🙂
  • I’m checking out this video because Dr. Berg spoke about sea moss. This guy is very smart with nutrition. He helped me back in the day early 2010. I lost most my fat very quick in a few months and I was eating on his liver enhancement plan . And I was over 300 pounds . I got down to 240 in less than two months. He is genuinely a good person and he cares about people.
  • I am glad that Dr Berg goes to next step and beyond. Sustainable farming, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, food forest are not just concepts. It's a practice day in and day out. It's feeding soil microbiome and growing better soils.
  • Thank you Dr Berg for your energy and insight on this most important topic of soil science that directly relates to Human Biology and Nutrition related issues. This is by far one of the best and most important articles to date. It all begins with the soil, water and air!
  • Whenever I need health advice, I always go to your videos Dr.. Berg ❤ Thank you for keeping us all healthy, bless you. ✝️

Leaves from trees contain trace minerals from what i`ve learned. (though I did not test them but it makes sense) Tree roots grow underground absorbing nutrients from the soil nourishing the trees and their leaves which then drop in the fall season decompose and replenish the soil. A good reason to compost and mulch with tree leaves when you`re able to!
  • Thank you dr Berg for your work! for telling people about it! We have a lot of people in Russia whom you help by your mission. Unfortunately, not all of us have the opportunity to seek quality medical care. There are also many doctors with a “formal” approach who prescribe the same thing to everyone according to the standard, without understanding the essence of the disease, its cause. We appreciate and love you very much in Russia!
  • @kmarks4364
Thank you Dr Berg. You have helped me and my family so much.
  • Dr. Berg, I communicate with you through Google translator, but the fact that you broadcast me as a Russian speaker impressed me, I will be glad if you somehow pay attention to my message, I threw off 15 kg and your videos there stimulate me to work on myself) You are a talented person who share knowledge with others and this is an indicator of a strong person, smart, who is not afraid of difficulties)
  • Dr. Berg, I have watched so many of your videos, but sometimes I feel like I would be doing nothing but taking supplements constantly. What is a day in your life like, start to finish, morning to night? What do you eat and drink and what supplements do you take throughout the day? What does your wife take? How do we fit all of these regimes into our daily life?
  • Dr. Berg. Please enable the "Thanks" tab so that those of us that want to "tip" you for your help can do so. Ahem Thanks. 💞🌸💞
