Do you know what is happening in St. Petersburg right now? India just signed a deal to buy 3 million barrels of oil a month from Russia in rubles. The Saudis are accepting other currencies for oil. If Ripple is only positioned with the American legacy financial system, then we’re screwed. It would be ironic if Ripple’s sycophantic obeisance to the US banks costs them everything. It would be nice to think they’re smarter than that, but that assumption isn’t playing out anywhere in the US: COVID, justice system, and military have all been run by ideologically captured, deluded mediocrities and liars. Let’s hope the rest of the world likes the XRP tokenomics.
