This interview has aged like the rarest of fine wines...

You may love him or hate him, but you can't deny that he was a very smart and well spoken man.

As a non-Iranian, this interview was so compelling that I have watched it multiple times. The way the Shaw speaks with no fear, and brutal honesty is refreshing, humurous and gives a good insight into what he was really like. What a shame the way it ended for him and his children.

This man was a genius. He mentioned about computer algorithm in regards to new York times in 70's
  • This is how a King talks, acts and behaves. I have total respect.

This man did 20 years in the can and never even complained about it, an absolute New York icon!
  • Everything else aside - this man had so much style. Well dressed, confident, intelligent, couldn't be pushed around. I like his vibe.
  • @BM-ym5ik
He was an intelligent man. He said things 40 years ago what is still true today.

He was an absolute legend, the stereotype of awareness and intelligence. as a 34 year old Iranian having seen all related documentaries and videos about him I feel extremely proud of him. rest in peace.(JAVID SHAH)

I can't believe how smart this man was... he called fake media 40 years ago. I got goosebumps when he said, "... you can send all of these articles to a computer and it will answer you" 👀 2:57

The Shah was 50 years ahead of his time.
  • @marjanteh

I lived in Los Angeles during the 80s and met many Persians who fled Iran . they were the most lovely people and loved their Shah.
  • The Shah is a legend. How is that possible to be this accurate about the world? He was right on point answering questions. His wisdom is unbelievable. He was surely ahead of his time and ahead of his countrymen of the time who apparently could not understand his superbly accurate vision. No wonder that Iranian new generations now chant slogans in favor of the Shah and his son Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi these days in the streets of Iran.

Shah of Iran, so intelligent, so wise, and knows exactly how to answer stupid questions, he can clearly read in between lines and the purpose of such biased interviews, may his soul rest on peace👑
  • We Iranians will never forgive President Carter for his behavior in dealing with the Shah.
  • @fwd5614
The Shah was spot on about both the Israeli-American relationship and the Palestinians.
