Since I honestly was suprised by the big amount of positive responses to the "Old Clips" video I had uploaded recently, I thought about continuing with it. Whereas the last one was probably edited onto VHS tapes before I was even born and just a little cleaned up and uploaded by me, this time around, I went through my archives to see what stuff was there. I gotta say that I was never too interested in collecting endless bits and pieces of interview snippets. It was probably my passion for collecting VHS tapes that killed this. For those who came in past that era: Sometimes you had 4-hour tapes filled with two or three minute snippets and endlessly forwarded through those just to find maybe one live performance in a TV show. More ofthen that not, there were four or five TV reports of the same show following each other with maybe one different picture edit in them :D
However, half of these actually came from VHS tapes I had transferred, others were on various compilations that came in over the years.
I don't make time lists for these, but from rare appearances on American Bandstand in '85 to a band-only video of Only Lonely to Jon's appearance at the second installement of Farm Aid to a nice interview with all band members - there's a lot for you to discover!
All videos were all individually a little readjusted to correct major issues and the highest frequencies slightly lowered to make the tape hiss more bearable. Enjoy the nostalgia trip!
