Do consider sharing this message, so it reaches the people it needs to reach 👊 Also First video with the new Camera! Who can tell the difference?

FINALLY someone said it. Most YouTubers would be afraid to say the truth in fear of being blacklisted by the brand so if there was someone that could do this video, it had to be Arun & Marques. The 2 Kings of Tech. You speak for all of us. Hope to see a positive change in the future! ♥️
  • @ShortHax
Never thought a 2 huge tech YouTuber collab would manipulate me into watching this video
  • @HiroiSekai
That mock trailer was expertly crafted, especially since I've seen most of the actual reviews they came from. Props to the editor for cementing exactly how opinions can not just be guided, but straight up misled with some simple editing tricks and restrictions. It's really important to use reviews as a supplementary opinion, but to think for yourself and do your own research and even personal testing in person.
  • "With great power comes great responsibility.." You guys are proving it. Great work as always. People are gonna keep these points in mind for future launches. :)
  • @FlossyCarter
This is EXACTLY why I buy my own phones so I can call these companies out on thier BS! Nobody can EVER say they seen a Samsung video from me without me talking about EVERYTHING I don't like at the start of the video.
  • @musicbysazid
No wonder why Marques and Arun is still the big dawgs on YouTube. Their transparency about reviews makes them so good.
  • This is actually a serious matter which should be put into account. I appreciate the effort and honesty you guys took to create this video and pass a huge amount of information about what's happening behind. This is why people trust your opinions.
  • @gsxraiders
Thank you for keeping tech companies in check! Yours and MKB's voices are very powerful.
  • @LinusTechTips
Great video. Obviously for me it wasn't news 😂 I've seen all this stuff before, but you guys did a great job of summarizing WHY some of these things are so problematic - LS
  • @ranjan_v
This is the level of honesty we expect from our youtubers
  • @sida3590
Love your transparency! Hope you guys don't get much backlash from telling the truth...bullies will be bullies! I can't believe that these companies don't ask you for permission or even pay you for your quotes or using your content! Meanwhile they cry bloody murder if anyone did the same with their content!

I never regret subscribing to this channel. This 14 minutes plus video just seemed like a 3 minutes watch. No wasted moments. Thank you both.
  • I love how They are actually pointing out brands for Different things without any hesitation
  • @LironSegev
Awesome breakdown. There is one more factor: Micro-Influencers. While it's great that brands are including smaller creators, micro-influencers tend to be super enthusiastic about products from big brands and they tend to do multiple videos which usually lean on the positive side. The brand gets a flood of content across a sustained period of time and the creator gets the views. This is especially true if it's a paid-for collaboration.

This was such an awesome video. Really love seeing a behind the scenes look at how these brand integrations work. Would love to see similar things going forward. Particularly with more collabs with MKBHD. You guy's both produce such awesome tech stuff. It's really an absolute masterclass of presentation and cinematography that adds a huge level of professionalism and is much appreciated.
  • @arj4unow
Great video, nicely summarized. That is why I always recommend your channel. You don't just agree with what the audience thinks, you make them think. The two of you are a great combination.
  • @SwitchUpYt
The "taken out of context" quote applies to games as well for sure!
  • @qs2668
Arun: "What do you expect me to do for 10 minutes?!" Nothing: We chose our brand name for a reason
  • @kakeara1588
Props to these guys for still giving us the facts and turning down offers to stay unbiased
