it’s so jarring to see geordie geeking out about music like a nervous kid when you think about his stage presence lol. love him!
  • I've never seen Geordie acting so...... normally. It's bizarre and also totally endearing. What a sweetie.

we need a visit from Georgie Greep to the Criterion Collection Closet

Morgan is quite possibly the greatest drummer on the planet as well as being an overall chill as hell guy.
  • @Falxifer95
This band is literally what happens when the coolest person in the school (Morgan) decides to adopt and hang with the turbonerds who don't go outside for recess.
  • Im just waiting for the day Geordie composes something for a film. Maybe the entire band, too.

god cameron’s so much more confident in these interactions now, he used to be so quiet. glad he’s doing well :)
  • Most bonkers thing is that I can hear all of these eclectic influences in their music

Sly Stone,Nina Simone, Scott Walker, Miles Davis,Kurt Weill covers, Tom Waits and Igor Stravinsky, that's why these guys are a great group. "Great artists are also great fans"!!!

It’s no accident they got as good as they have. You’d think they were in their 50’s to have such a wide array of tastes.

The audience will forever win with Black Midi. I saw them live twice last year and they're just such a complete force of nature. The best band in the world and such pleasantly kind fellas💚❤💜♥️💖🧡💛💙💗
  • Love these dudes. I will say I expected them all to have really obscure left field picks but they had a lot of classics. Also, Watertown is one of my favorite Sinatra albums.
  • As an Argentinian myself, I'm so glad that Geordie can recognise and value all the qualities that Astor Piazzolla had and brought to the tango scene, which was very conservative at that time. He revolutionised the way the genre could be played and seen and definitely expanded its horizons. Great picks overall, and fantastic band!

I loved black midi since the first record, by then I thought these guys were post punk and I was all for it. It's so nice to see new people getting to know their music and having such a different blender of sounds to dig into since. Very cool
