  • My dad died the 1st of Oct 2017, listening to this reminds me of the late nights I'd wake up, come down for a glass of water or just to stretch the legs a moment before going to bed again, he'd nearly always watch western movies and sometimes I'd join him watch a movie to the end before going to bed again, sometimes talk with him. I miss him! Miss him so much, the old fool!

“You see, in this world there are two kinds of people, my friend: Those who adore Ennio Morricone's music and those who are deaf”
  • @unknownnpc7056
I am truck driver and when always driving through Utah I play this music in my radio.
  • "This morning, I woke up and started working from home. I poured a cup of coffee and started playing this music in the background on my headphones. As I listened, I placed the warm mug to my forehead and closed my eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun flooding through my window. Thanks for helping to make this morning so peaceful. if you read this, doesn't matter where you are right now on this planet, I wish you a wonderful night and a happy peaceful life where all your dreams become true."
  • I lost my dad 2 years ago....I played ecstasy of gold at his funeral...I grew up with these films with my dad......the music is absolutely stunning....nothing compares to it....and also brings me close to my dad even though he has gone 🥺🥺❤❤

My father and I would watch these movies on a friday night.... he died in '92. I miss him terribly, and yet, hearing this... brings him straight back. thank you Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone.

There will never be another musical genius like Ennio Morricone. He's above and beyond. Many have and will continue to try to emulate his sound. None will succeed... He will be remembered for hundreds of years and in time the world will look back on him as we do Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Mozart, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and Holst. The Maestro of our time.

I was a little girl growing up in a small village in Taiwan in the 1970s. We had at least 4 "foreign feature films" play on TV each weekend. I watched several Sergio's western movies at that time. It nourished my love for movies and music. When I watched the "Ennio: The Maestro" documentary in the theater 9 days ago in Taipei, I couldn't help crying as it brought back so many childhood memories. Thank you, Maestro, for enriching my life ever since.

My mom loved everything clint The good bad and the ugly was one her favorites. She passed away in 2021. I watch these movies to remember the good times

I was with my Mom, full time, the last few years of her life. One of the great joys was watching old shows/movies that she loved and hadn't seen in years. I didn't know beforehand, but she loved all of Clint Eastwood's Westerns. I rented everything Netflix had - which was everything! - and we slowly made our way through it all, anthology style. Those were the Best Years of my adult life... never to be equaled. We were close beforehand, but the things we learned about one another, and the resolution of small misunderstandings that had been left on dusty shelfs can not be overstated. Life is short... love who you would love and pardon all others with equal fervor. Blessings to everyone here!

I dont think old western movies would have been the same without ennio...his music is what made em epic...
  • 40 years ago in my home country, they used to play A Fistful of Dollars , For a Few Dollars More, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, every year on local TV. I used to watch them every time. Years later I migrated to the U.S. and I kept my tradition. I am watching the movies every year. It brings all the memories back, and I get to live with the characters again. Love.
  • @rubenfranco8373
My father, who still lives, introduced these movies to me as a child and I am forever grateful! Every time I sit down to watch one always brings me back to my childhood with my father. I am now 55 yrs old. 😊
  • @turnip9367
It can't be overstated how effective this music is in transporting you to the Wild West. The Spaghtetti Westerns would be nothing without Ennio Morricone's beautiful mind.

HI all you youngsters out there. I’m 78 and still enjoy the Sergio leone westerns. The best there ever was. Added to which the music by Ennio morricone makes sheer it bliss. Can’t count the number of times I’ve watched them all. Enjoy.
  • @Symon_Musician
Who actually believes that Maestro died? He will live forever in his music.

I saw Ennio Morricone & his orchestra in London at the O2 shortly before his death, he was then in his 90's, I also later went back to the same venue to see his son conducting Ennio's orchestra while playing Ennio's music. To me Ennio Morricone was & still is the Greatest composer of all time ( & not just for western music ), as he dared to be so different & experimental with his music, which made his music so unforgettable & instantly recognisable, so much so that if Ennio Morricone has scored the music to a movie then you'll know so from the first few notes as no other composers music sounds quite like Ennio Morricone's. Thank you for your magnificent music Mr Morricone & R.I.P.
