I applied for and interviewed for different versions of my "dream job" well over 20 times over the last two years. Every interview I went into, my hands were sweaty, I prepared for several days prior, I was anxious as hell and I stumbled over my words. Then, I gave in to my dreams of doing stand up comedy, and the day after the best open mic night I'd had so far, I was asked to do an interview on very short notice. I figured, "Meh, what the hell, not like they can take Comedy from me," and I interviewed calmly, no anxiety, and answered their questions very well. I got the job, too. The moment I stopped placing my insecurities and doubts ahead of my dreams and goals, that camouflaged door slammed wide open.

All things are possible when you are willing to bring them to life. Stay in the good fight life wants you to win.

Woke up with conviction! Wow! I have learned that from my grandparents and parents ,growing up in the Caribbean (Guyana) they didn’t woke up with alarm clock, radio or television, but they always woke up early (before sunrise ) and i try to do the same along with my kids and grandkids.
