On my second playthrough of Bug Fables on hard mode, and decided to try out a bit of dumb strategy to take out the Mother Chomper earlier than expected. Filled my inventory with Abominations after grinding up some berries, and kept rallying Leif to keep the Bubble Shields up. Had Favorite One on Kabu for good measure.

They used 5 in total, that's ten honey drops, and I'm pretty sure this works on all the bosses.
