I mean let’s be fair. Friday Night Funkin was never meant to be for kids. Blue balls on game over, demons, Pico, psychopathic monsters gleefully singing about dismembering and cooking kids into his next meal, etc.

FnF was never supposed to be a family friendly game so this mod is a reality check IMO

The Pico and BF being exes thing was a dev joke in response to the BFxPico ship, but the devs gradually joked about it more and more to the point that Tom Fulp (creator of Newgrounds and Pico) said it was "official Pico 2 canon". The devs have recently said that Pico wasn't ever meant to be BF's ex when the joke was first made, but they then took the idea seriously to make Pico a central character in the story, someone BF and GF can cross paths with frequently that isn't quite their friend, isn't quite their enemy.

Some things I love about this mod - The key and lyric change near the end of Dadbattle is GORGEOUS, the VISCERAL vibes of "oh shit just got real" is just MMMMM - Bf replying to "please daddy wont you listen" alongside dad 💀 - Dad being a sore loser - Bf not sweating or talking dirty with the spooky boys - The sheer dirtyness of the Philly Nice lyrics

Nobody's talking about this, but I LOVE that Boyfriend raps with inoccent lyrics and doesn't say any swearwords or curses when he's with Skid and Pump bc they're kids, he's a good guy :)

I love how this mod made ppl remember this game has 18+ content story wise
