James is the most biker looking biker that ever biked

Its crazy how they pull of almost 2 and a half hours of show in theirs age, legends
  • I met James in Dublin Airport the morning before this gig, I was returning home from the states on holidays and was just picking my baggage up from the carousel and there was james just casually sitting on the bench beside me! Crazy, I had a chat with him but he refused a photo, which is understandable as he was just off an 11 hour flight and was groggy! Was so surreal seeing him standing on that stage the next day in front of 80,000 people!

Glorious audio -- loud, while well mixed and free of clipping distortion -- unlike soooo many concerts. Glorious video -- mostly bright white even lighting, unlike sooo many concerts with uneven shadowy lighting, and resolution-killing monochrome red. I salute the videographers and sound-ographers -- this is an ideal to shoot for!

To all the people that were at this show, I am so jealous, what a hell of a show to be at. They are my favourite band.

Still can't believe I was at this, best day of my life

I'm having one of my saddest days in my life today. I had to put Gucci (my dog, a chowchow) down because of a severe illness this morning. I was watching this concert last night and left the tab open so I can continue watching after i lay her in her final resting place. Thank you for lifting my spirits up <3 Music in whatever shape or form can really make a difference in someone's life. WE CAN LIVE FOREVER! Rest in peace my Gucci! Daddy will always love you! <3

As I listen to this and watch, I am struck by how well written these songs are.

How can James have such voice after all the years? Holy shit absolutely outstanding vocal controll at that age. Wow

4 guys… 4 instruments… just magical. After all these years. Feel so validated having loved them for 30 years

Been a fan my whole life (36) but I finally saw them at Louder than Life in KY last year. God, they're gettin up there in the years but the energy was still amazing. Nonstop for hours, can't imagine how much energy that takes. Keep rockin!
  • This is the last concert my Dad and I had ever been to. We had been to every Metallica concert since I was born together. He introduced me to Metallica as an 8 year old. Memories of head banging on the way to the bus for school. Rock on Da, you inspired me to be anything I could 🤟

Haven't listened to Metallica live in quite a few years, or at all really. This came on randomly and I have to say this is sounding as amazing as I remember them back in the day. Despite their age, they can still kill it.
