Clay Aiken, season two's runner up on American Idol appeared on The View on September 22, 2006 to discuss his new look, and his fresh new album, titled, "A Thousand Different Ways". During this interview Aiken is also asked about the rumored anxiety medication he has been taking and confirmed that the rumors were true. The overall interview is a bit different than most he has done, that's why I personally enjoy this one so much. On top of that, later in the show, Clay sings a fantastic song from his new album, titled "Without You".

Many have not seen this interview, its quite rare, and cannot be found easily online, so please enjoy.

I'm a bit surprised that he revealed that much about the anxiety stuff. I hope it's better now. I can't believe it's been 10 years
  • Those eyes the lips all of him completely adorable love you clay
  • That's why no one knows where clay is but Kelly is on live everyday at 9 m-f
  • @kokizag
Of course Rossie was gona defend and agree with everything he says they have alot in common
  • he looked so cute here, I don't like him being in politics now, he's turned all harsh looking and looks old, I love the fun easy going clay better
  • God Joy is truly insufferable. “IVE NEVER HEARD THAT. XANAX IS NOT ANTI ANXIETY MEDICATION. ITS NOT ADDICTIVE.” Yeah okay, just completely ignoring the prescription drug crisis in the USA…. Also “ARE YOU GOING TO SING?” while he is literally mid-sentence about something deeply personal and vulnerable.
